SportsTips’ Best Bets To Win Super Bowl LV

SportsTips’ Best Bets To Win Super Bowl LV
Fri 20th November 2020

With Week 11 of the NFL season now underway, there is only a month and a half left of 2020 regular season. Division titles and Wild Card spots are still up for grabs in both conferences, making each game more important than the last for the teams in pursuit of Super Bowl success.

Here are our best bets to win Super Bowl LV as it stands in Week 11:

Best Bet To Win Super Bowl LV

Kansas City Chiefs

Super Bowl Odds: +350
Record: 8-1

After an exciting and inexperienced Chiefs team recorded come from behind victories in not one, not two but all three of their 2019 playoffs games including Super Bowl LIV, Kansas City opened as the +650 favourite to win Super Bowl LV. The 2020 Chiefs are going about their title defense in a completely different manner, flying somewhat under the radar.

Given Pittsburgh’s perfect 9-0 start to the 2020 season, the Chiefs are almost an afterthought in the AFC, despite being currently on pace to break their own total yards, yards per play and rushing yards records from last year, all while committing fewer turnovers. Like the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes is flying under the radar in the 2020 MVP race, having thrown only one interception to go along with his 25 touchdowns, the third most in the league.

Given that the Steelers have the second easiest remaining schedule this season, the Chiefs may not finish with top spot in the AFC. However, don’t be fooled, Kansas City are the best team in the NFL and are the best bet to win Super Bowl LV.

Chiefs Remaining Schedule:
Week 11 @ Las Vegas
Week 12 @ Tampa Bay
Week 13 vs Denver
Week 14 @ Miami
Week 15 @ New Orleans
Week 16 vs Atlanta
Week 17 vs Los Angeles (Chargers)

Best Value Bet To Win Super Bowl LV

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Super Bowl Odds: +900
Record: 7-3

In Week 10, both Tom Brady and the Buccaneers bounced back from their embarrassing Week 9 loss to the Saints. However, their odds to win Super Bowl LV did not. The Buccaneers were +650 to win the Super Bowl after defeating New York in Week 9, and drifted out to +900 as a result of their 38-3 loss to New Orleans in Week 10.

In Week 11, Saints quarterback Drew Brees suffered a collapsed lung and multiple rib fractures during their win over the 49’ers, while on the same day Tampa Bay equaled New Orleans on seven wins for the season after defeating Carolina, yet their Super Bowl odds remained at +900.

Given the injury to Brees, the Bucs are still a big chance of stealing the NFC South and giving themselves a better chance at becoming the first team in NFL history to win the Super Bowl in their own stadium. Great value to do so at +900.

Buccaneers Remaining Schedule:
Week 11 vs Los Angeles (Rams)
Week 12 vs Chiefs
Week 13 BYE
Week 14 vs Minnesota
Week 15 @ Atlanta
Week 16 @ Detroit
Week 17 vs Atlanta
