The Portland Trail Blazers (9-4, 3-2 Home) host the San Antonio Spurs (6-8, 3-3 Away), who will be out to snap their road losing streak, on Tuesday. This marks the first meeting of the season between the teams. San Antonio swept all four matchups between the teams last season, the last of which was a 113-92 triumph at AT&T Center on April 3, their fourth straight head-to-head victory.
Johnson led the Spurs with 28 points, while Tre Jones added 18 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists. Keon Johnson had 19 points in the loss.
Johnson and Devin Vassell, averaging 22.9 and 19.5 points per game, respectively, are leading the Spurs in scoring this season. Both are among the league’s top scorers, as Johnson is No. 1 and Vassell is first.
