Cole Anthony led the Magic with 23 points, while Wendell Carter Jr. added 18 points, five assists, and three blocks. Anfernee Simons had 19 points in the loss.Banchero and Franz Wagner, averaging 21.3 and 20.0 points per game, respectively, are leading the Magic in scoring this season.
Banchero also has dished 3.9 assists per game. Meanwhile, Bol Bol is grabbing 7.1 rebounds per game. Simons (22.4 ppg) and Jerami Grant (22.1) have powered the Blazers on offense. Jusuf Nurkic is averaging 10.1 rebounds per game, and Josh Hart is distributing 4.1 assists.
The Magic have had limited success at Moda Center at the Rose Quarter in recent seasons, losing eight of the last 10 trips. Portland has won four straight at home this season. Meanwhile, the Magic are 0-7 when playing the second of a back-to-back this season and 0-2 with a rest disadvantage.
