The Chicago Bulls (22-26, 9-16 Away), one of the league’s top shooting teams, travel to face the Orlando Magic (19-30, 13-12 Home) on Saturday. Orlando is playing the second of a back-to-back after dropping their last game yesterday at FTX Arena, falling to the Miami Heat 110-105. Franz Wagner had 19 points in defeat to lead the team. The Magic are the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference.
It’s the final meeting of the season between the teams. After taking the only prior season game against Chicago 108-107 at United Center in November 2022, Orlando will be aiming for a season sweep. DeRozan topped all players in scoring with 41 points in the loss.
Wendell Carter Jr. had 21 points for the Magic, while Wagner played a key role with 20 points and eight assists. The Bulls have been led this season by DeRozan and Zach LaVine, who are averaging 26.3 and 23.6 points per game, respectively. DeRozan also has dished 4.9 assists per game.
Meanwhile, Nikola Vucevic is grabbing 11.0 rebounds per game. Paolo Banchero and Wagner have supplied much of the Magic’s offense, averaging 20.7 and 20.2 points per game, respectively. Banchero also has tallied 3.7 assists per game.
Bol Bol has collected 6.7 rebounds per game. The Bulls are one of the NBA’s most accurate teams from the field, ranking fifth at 48.7%. The Bulls have had the advantage in recent trips to Amway Center, winning six of the last 10.
Orlando is pursuing a fourth straight win at home this season. Meanwhile, the Magic are 1-8 when playing on consecutive nights this season and 1-3 in such games against opponents with at least a day of rest. The Bulls are 2-3 with a rest advantage.
