The Knicks got the win in the last meeting 118-88 at Amway Center on April 3. RJ Barrett led the Knicks with 27 points, while Alec Burks was a key contributor with 19 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Moritz Wagner had 18 points and nine rebounds in the losing effort.
The Magic have been led early this season by Paolo Banchero, who is averaging 23.3 points per game. Meanwhile, Wendell Carter Jr. is grabbing 10.3 rebounds per game, and Cole Anthony is dishing 4.0 assists.
Julius Randle (19.5 ppg) has supplied much of the Knicks’ offense. Isaiah Hartenstein is collecting 9.5 rebounds per game, and Jalen Brunson is distributing 7.5 assists. The Magic have had the advantage in recent visits to Madison Square Garden, winning six of the last 10. Orlando is looking for a first road win this season.
