Minnesota won both games between the teams last season, the last of which was a 129-120 triumph at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on February 13. Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 37 points. Tyrese Haliburton had 22 points and 16 assists in defeat.
Edwards and Towns, averaging 22.1 and 21.5 points per game, respectively, have led the T’Wolves in scoring this season. Both are among the league’s top scorers, as Edwards is No. 1 and Towns is first.
