Golden State lost on Friday at Chase Center, falling to the Denver Nuggets 128-123. Stephen Curry had 34 points in defeat, carrying the team. Golden State swept all four matchups between the teams last season, the last of which was a 109-90 triumph at Golden 1 Center on April 3, their fifth straight head-to-head victory. Andrew Wiggins led the Warriors with 25 points, while Nemanja Bjelica contributed 19 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists.
Harrison Barnes had 18 points and 10 rebounds in defeat.The Kings have been led so far this season by Fox, who is averaging 34.5 points per game, second-highest in the league. Meanwhile, Barnes is grabbing 7.5 rebounds per game, and Domantas Sabonis is dishing 6.0 assists.
Curry has supplied much of the Warriors’ offense, averaging 33.5 points per game. He has the fourth-best scoring average in the NBA. Wiggins is pulling down 7.0 rebounds per game, and Draymond Green is doling out 7.0 assists. The Kings are 2-4 in six visits to Chase Center.
