Portland Trail Blazers @ Detroit Pistons – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

Portland heads to Detroit for this game and they will still be looking for a crucial victory to get the momentum rolling on this young season as they are still attempting to move on from the Damian Lillard era. It has been a rough start to the season for Portland as they have only picked up a single victory in their first four games of the year, and they will be looking to grab their second victory of the season here in this one against a struggling Detroit Pistons team on Wednesday night. Portland still has a long way to go if they want to move on from Damian Lillard as it will take several years of a likely rebuilding scenario for them to become a contender once again in the Western Conference.

Detroit comes into this game dead even through their first four games of the season and they will be looking to grab their third victory of the season in this one against Portland on Wednesday night at home. These two teams are in somewhat of a similar scenario, but Detroit is much farther along in their rebuilding situation and they should be a lot more competitive this season compared to the Trail Blazers. Cade Cunningham has returned from his season ending injury last season and picked up right where he left off as he leads the team in scoring with 21 points per game. I expect him to put up a quality performance in this game on Wednesday night at home and help lead Detroit to a much-needed victory.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Detroit Pistons (-155)

Milwaukee Bucks @ Toronto Raptors – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Milwaukee Bucks are still looking to gel together as a team with the likes of Damian Lillard, joining the roster during the off-season. They will be looking to get things going in the right direction with a victory here on Wednesday night on the road north of the border against the Toronto Raptors. This is a crucial game for Milwaukee as they will need to learn how to win on the road with their new super team duo of Giannis, Antetokounmpo, and Damian Lillard. Grabbing a victory in this game would be the perfect opportunity to boost the momentum and help them learn how to play better together in hostile environments for when it matters most later on in the season.

The Toronto Raptors will be looking for a solid early-season victory at home against the Milwaukee Bucks here on Wednesday evening. Will be looking to prove that they are still a contender in the Eastern Conference , and they will not go away easily against a team like Milwaukee that overmatches them on paper. Pascal Siakam will have to put up quality numbers in this game. If he wants to help lead the Toronto Raptors to a victory against them, Milwaukee Bucks and Fred Vanvleet will have to put up better numbers than he did in his last performance if Toronto wants to succeed here in this one at home on Wednesday night as well. Unfortunately for the Toronto Raptors, I don’t see that happening as I look for the Milwaukee Bucks to grab the victory here on the road on Wednesday night.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Milwaukee Bucks -4.5 (-120)

Washington Wizards @ Atlanta Hawks – 7:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

Washington will be looking for a victory here on Wednesday night against the Atlanta Hawks as they look to get the momentum rolling early on in this new season. It hasn’t been an ideal start to the season for Washington as they come into this game as losers of two out of their first three games on the year, and they will be looking to grab their second victory of the season here in this one on the road against a divisional opponent. Kyle Kuzma leads the way for Washington throughout their first three games of the season as he is averaging over 22 points per game and he will have to put up some quality numbers here in this one against Atlanta if Washington wants to grab a victory. They come into this game on a one game losing streak after losing to Boston in their previous contest.

The Atlanta Hawks come into this one looking to grab their third victory of the season and continue their winning streak after having a very rough start of the year through their first two games. A third consecutive victory would keep them a minimum rolling for the Atlanta Hawks here in this one, especially coming at home against a team like Washington that they will see several times this season. Trae Young will have to leave the way for the Atlanta Hawks here in this one if he wants to help them grab a victory at home against a solid and formidable Washington team and that is exactly what I expect as I look for Atlanta to get the victory here in this one on Wednesday night.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Atlanta Hawks -8.5 (-110)

New Orleans Pelicans @ Oklahoma City Thunder – 7:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

The New Orleans Pelicans are a team that has legitimate potential to reach a Western Conference Finals, and potentially even an NBA Finals, as long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout the year. They will be looking to go on the road against a young and hungry Oklahoma City team and pick up a gritty victory here on Wednesday night as they look to get the momentum rolling on this new season. New Orleans comes into this game as winners of two out of their first three games on the season and they will be looking to make it three out of their first four games with another quality performance here in this one on Wednesday night on the road in Oklahoma City. They will be looking to bounce back from a loss after losing the Golden State in their previous game.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are young, but they have plenty of talent on the roster that can carry them through the regular season and make them a potential darkhorse candidate to make the postseason this year. They are off to a fantastic start this season as they have picked up three victories in their first four games of the year, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with a fourth victory here at home on Wednesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans. They are coming off of a victory against the Detroit Pistons and their previous game, and they will be looking to grab their second consecutive victory with a quality performance here in this one. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Oklahoma City to upset New Orleans here in this one as it seems more and more likely that Brandon Ingram will not feature or have a limited role in this one.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

OKC Thunder (-155)

Denver Nuggets @ Minnesota Timberwolves – 8PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Denver Nuggets have opened up their championship defense season with a quality start, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Wednesday night on the road in Minnesota. Nikola Jokić just once again playing like this season’s MVP award winner as he is just unstoppable no matter how much time or energy you put towards stopping him. Denver comes into this game undefeated through their first four games of the season and they will be looking for a fifth consecutive victory here in this one on Wednesday night on the road. This will be their third road game out of their last four games and they will be looking to once again grab the victory away from home here in this one and as long as they play like they’ve been playing they should have no problem grabbing the win here against Minnesota.

Minnesota will be looking to end the undefeated run of the Denver Nuggets with a victory here at home on Wednesday night as they look to give the defending NBA champions their first loss of the year. They have had a rough start to the season as they have lost two out of their first three games on the year and they will be looking to bounce back and grab their second victory here in this one at home against the Denver Nuggets. It will certainly be no easy task because they will have to find a way to stop Nikola Jokić and Michael Porter Junior as well as Jamal Murray as Denver can attack you in so many different ways. Unfortunately from Minnesota I don’t see them getting the victory in this game on Wednesday night as I look for Denver to easily grab it win on the road.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Denver Nuggets -3.5 (-110)
