Free NBA Picks Today for Saturday, March 27th, 2021
Sat 27th March 2021

Another massive night for our NBA picks! You don’t want to miss out on all of the action.

There are 9 games tonight and we have analysed each of them for you so that are the most informed you can be before placing your bets! Check it all out below.

Detroit Pistons @ Washington Wizards – 8PM ET

Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal are absolutely balling out for Washington at the moment. The two superstars haven’t been surrounded by much talent this season but have taken the responsibility upon themselves in an attempt to get the Wizards back into the postseason picture.

Four of the Wizards last nine defeats have been by just seven points or less. In their most recent 106-102 loss to the Knicks they still had five players score in double-figures. They were Beal 26PTS, Rui Hachimura 21PTS, Garrison Matthews 16PTS, Westbrook 13PTS and Robin Lopez with 10PTS off the bench.

The Pistons have won two of their last five games and two of their defeats were by five points or less. Their most recent game saw them fight competitively in a 113-111 loss to Brooklyn. Two massive problems for them in that clash were that they shot just 11/31 (35.5%) on their three-point attempts. That while they also lost the offensive rebound battle 16-7.

During their match against New York, only four players came off the bench for the Wizards. With players such as Ish Smith and Thomas Bryant not featuring, it made life difficult for them. With the Pistons bench being a bit more influential and shored up than that of their opposition’s, that’s how they have a chance.

New York Knicks @ Milwaukee Bucks – 8PM ET

Realistically only one of the few differences between the two sides is the ‘Greek Freak’ in the form of Giannis Antetokounmpo. Only three games ago against Indiana the former MVP was given some rest as he did not feature. In his side’s most recent 122-114 loss to the Celtics, he had two TO and gave up three PF. He also only went 1/3 from deep and was 3/6 on his FT attempts.

The Knicks have won three of their last four and their previous two were a pair of wins over the Wizards. They were 106-102 and 131-113 respectively. In the four-point W they used the fourth quarter as a catalyst to claim the game as their own, as they won 39-24.

Julius Randle showed up to play as he hit up the opposition for seven three’s, as he eventually scored 37PTS. Somehow, someway, he is helping to drag the Knicks to the Playoffs and all the credit to him in the world because of it.

This game comes down to the positional battle of Randle vs the ‘Greek Freak’. They both play hard and go to the rim and dunk with ease. Both men are seasoned veterans of the game. They’ll decide the outcome of this clash.

Houston Rockets @ Minnesota Timberwolves – 8PM ET

This game pits the fourteenth placed Rockets against the last-placed Timberwolves. With Houston being 1-9 from their last ten games and Minnesota being only 4-6, this game is primed to be average at best.

With both sides building towards the future and having players such as Christian Wood and Anthony Edwards on the roster, it should be fun to watch at least (hopefully).

The Rockets latest clash saw them go down 107-101 to the Timberwolves. They allowed them to go on a 22-0 run to close out the match. This game is indicative of why Houston fans are so frustrated with them this season.

The Rockets got out offensively rebounded 14-7 and turned the ball over nineteen times to nine. Jae’Sean Tate had four OR, while John Wall produced seven TO’s! During the latter stages of the game, they looked completely non cohesive.

Karl-Anthony Towns was massive for the home side with 29PTS and 16REB. That was while Juancho Hernangomez scored 19PTS and Naz Reid 16PTS both coming off the pine. Unlike the Rockets, the Timberwolves have seemed somewhat convincing as of late.

Victor Oladipo is no longer with the Rockets. Dante Exum and Eric Gordon didn’t play. Nor did Danuel House Jr. Will they even have enough bodies to compete? Minnesota should have this one.

Chicago Bulls @ San Antonio Spurs – 8:30PM ET

In a deadline day deal Nikola Vucevic was excitingly traded to the Bulls. Zach LaVine now has a running mate and Chicago is in the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference and looking to make the Playoffs. Everything is coming up gold for the Bulls.

San Antonio’s latest matchup was a disappointing 98-85 defeat to the Clippers. In that clash they somehow managed to grab only two OR. If Vucevic plays he will destroy Greg Popovich’s side. The newly acquired C is averaging 11.8RPG.

Chicago’s form has dipped a bit recently, although they still have three wins from their last seven games. And although LaVine 28.1PPG is doing better than DeRozan 20.6PPG, DeRozan’s name was tossed up a lot around the trade deadline and he’ll have a point or two to prove in this clash.

The former Raptor arguably should’ve been an All Star this season but he was snubbed, then his name was bandied about as a potential Laker, but the Spurs elected to keep him. He’ll be frustrated and fired up.

When all’s said and done, LaVine has been coveted by the Bulls this year, but for DeRozan it’s been totally different. He will have that Mamba mentality in this affair.

Dallas Mavericks @ New Orleans Pelicans – 9PM ET

From 2019-2021 JJ Redick featured for New Orleans. Now a member of the Mavericks sparks are sure to fly. With Luka Dončić helping him out, this game will be primetime basketball.

Dallas have won three of their last five games beating Minnesota 128-105, Portland 132-92 and the Clippers 109-85. For New Orleans they’ve only won twice. They most recently being the Lakers 128-111 and Denver 113-108. Both sides are in vastly different veins of form headed into this clash.

Doncic is seventh in the NBA in scoring this campaign and with his passing ability (9.1APG) also of an extremely high IQ, he will be a severe threat in this clash.

However, he is faced up against rival PG Lonzo Ball. Somebody who was also fancied highly to be traded before the deadline passed. He is a lockdown defender and now that his future is almost assuredly with New Orleans, he’ll want to reward their faithful yet long suffering fans with something to cheer about.

Averaging 14.2PPG this season, Lonzo’s been no slouch in the offensive department either and is developing a pretty hot stroke from deep. His last two games, both against Portland, he hit three three’s each time. This PG battle will be hugely impactful on the outcome of the match.

Boston Celtics @ Oklahoma City Thunder – 9PM ET

Former Big 12 Player of the Year Marcus Smart has been hooping lately. He’s helped his team not have to rely on their vastly empty bench. Last time out vs Milwaukee, he had 23PTS and 8REB. Prior to that also against the Bucks, he had 12PTS and 6AST.

Boston’s last game was a 122-114 win vs Milwaukee. Before that they went down 121-119 also to them. Their pair of All-Stars in the form of Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown lit up the floor for 34PTS and 18PTS respectively. Those two have been one of the few reasons the Celtics have even been in the playoffs hunt this season.

As for the Thunder, they just don’t give in do they? They are only three victories off of the tenth placed Warriors and they don’t have the Steph Curry that they have. Instead they have Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. They missed the 22 year-old in their 116-107 loss to Memphis.

Al Horford stood up big for his side with 13PTS and 8REB. Off the bench Moses Brown shot 7/9 and had 19PTS along with 12REB. Boston has so much more motivation to win than OKC does.

Memphis Grizzlies @ Utah Jazz – 9PM ET

Utah has the best record in the entire NBA at 33-11. While for the pesky Grizzlies, they own the ninth seed with a 21-21 record. A win for the Jazz would boost them to four wins ahead of both the Phoenix and Clippers. While a victory for Memphis would boost them closer to that elusive sixth seed. We got a game here!

Utah have won their last four games, with their latest being 117-114 over Memphis. For the Grizz, they had won three in a row before they met the Jazz. A jump ball right at the end between Jai Morant and Dereck Favors saw Favors win the ball and win the match. It went right down to the wire!

Memphis shot 40.0% on their three-point attempts and the Jazz were 36.4%. Grayson Allen went 5/9 and Donavan Mitchell 5/7. Each side was also extremely careful with the ball, the Grizz produced only six TO’s and the Jazz had just seven.

Ja Morant had a big game with 32PTS. While Mitchell scored 35. Morant also had 11AST and Mike Conley 8AST.

Jonas Valanciunas had 18REB and Rudy Gobert 9REB. Valanciunas was tough on his opposing C as he had two blocks, as did Gobert. The inside battle was tough and should be the same again here. Both teams know what to do.

Philadelphia 76ers @ Los Angeles Clippers – 10PM ET

Talk about a reunion, Doc Rivers coming face-to-face against a side whom he coached for eight years is no doubt going to create a heated clash. He could never advance as far as he needed to with LA. But with Philadelphia so far, he has them owning the Eastern Conference’s NO.1 seed.

The 76ers have won their last four games in a row, their latest being a 109-101 W over the Lakers. Tobias Harris has been the star of the show. Over that period he’s had 25, 17, 20 and 29PTS. The former Clipper has strongly stood up in the absences of both Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid.

In their W over LA they were aggressive, they scored 24PTS off of their TO’s and stole the ball off them 13 times. They also hit 17/45 attempts from deep (37.8%).

The Clippers currently own the NO.3 seed in the Western Conference with an imposing 30-16 record. They’ve won their last four games in a row, beating SAS twice, 98-85 and 134-101. Also vs ATL 119-110 and CHA 125-98.

Kawhi Leonard shot 9/12 and scored 25PTS vs his former side. And with Harris also playing the Forward position, how these two fare against each other will be incredible! Kawhi can clamp down heavily on defence, yet Harris is like a butterfly offensively. These two can play!

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Sacramento Kings – 10PM ET

De’Aron Fox showed why he can be the NO.1 piece on a team when he tore the Warriors to shreds last time out. In his side’s commanding 141-119 victory he scored 44PTS as he shot 16/22 from the floor. He also had 7AST. The 23-year-old Texas born PG will be looking to wreak havoc on a lottery bound Cleveland team.

In his side’s victory, they set fire to the court with their hot shooting, going 19/38 from beyond the arc. They also had twenty-eight total AST and gave up the ball just six times. Richaun Holmes and Tyrese Hailburton were also massive for Sacramento with 25PTS/11REB and 21PTS/1AST respectively. This was their ninth win against a WC side this campaign.

For Cleveland they are twelfth, yet surprisingly have a 13-12 conference record this season. They’ve gone down in seven of their last ten games, with the latest being 100-86 vs the Lakers. Larry Nance Jr was the star for them as he had 17PTS, 10REB, 5AST and 1BLK.

Both sides currently sit just two wins each off a play in spot, so they both have a lot to play for at this point in time. For Sacramento to win they need to continue their blistering shooting. For the Cavs it’s all about Isaac Okoro and Cedi Osman being more involved in the match.
