The New York Knicks suffered the biggest defeat of the season as they allowed a season-high 134 points in a 134-101 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. RJ Barrett led the Knicks with 22 points and five rebounds. Alec Burks added 17 points and eight assists, while Immanuel Quickley scored 15 points.

The Oklahoma City Thunder got their revenge for a loss to the Dallas Mavericks right before the All-Star break. They secured a 116-108 victory, but the Mavs played without both Porzingis and Doncic.


Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 32 points and six assists. Al Horford contributed with 21 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks, while Lu Dort and Aleksej Pokusevski scored 14 points apiece.

Detroit Pistons @ Brooklyn Nets – 7PM ET

The Detroit Pistons are facing the third straight defeat after losing to the New York Knicks and Charlotte Hornets – both of which came on the road. The latest loss to the Hornets was a narrow one, 105-102, despite a great display from Jerami Grant, who ended the game with 32 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Saddiq Bey scored 14 points, while Svi Mykhailiuk had 11 points, eight dimes, four boards, and two steals.


The Brooklyn Nets are in a fantastic form of 11 victories in the last 12 games. They are right behind the Philadelphia Sixers at the top of the Eastern Conference with a 25-13 record. Steve Nash’s side didn’t have problems beating the Boston Celtics 121-109.

Kyrie Irving destroyed his former team with 40 points and eight rebounds. James Harden posted a double-double of 22 points and game-high ten boards, along with a game-high eight assists, and two blocks, while Landry Shamet chipped in with 18 points.

Toronto Raptors @ Charlotte Hornets – 7PM ET

The Toronto Raptors continued where they left off prior to the All-Star break and suffered the third defeat in a row. This time around, the Atlanta Hawks beat them in a close 121-120 encounter as Tony Snell hit a buzzer-beating triple. Not even a +15 point lead in the fourth quarter helped Toronto to get a win.

Norman Powell led the Raptors with 33 points and four assists. Chris Boucher followed him with 29 points, nine rebounds, two steals, and two blocks, Kyle Lowry recorded a double-double of 17 points and game-high 12 dishes, along with six boards, while Aron Baynes also posted a double-double of 11 points and 15 rebounds. 


The Charlotte Hornets secured a narrow 105-102 victory over the Detroit Pistons and improved to an 18-18 record and 8th position in the East. PJ Washington led Charlotte with 20 points, game-high nine rebounds, and two rejections. Gordon Hayward and Terry Rozier scored 17 points apiece, while Cody Zeller had 15 points and seven boards.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Washington Wizards – 7PM ET

The Milwaukee Bucks finally look like true contenders. They won seven of the previous eight games, and dismantled the New York Knicks 134-101 in the latest one. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks against the league’s best defense with a triple-double of 24 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. Bryn Forbes scored 21, while Brook Lopez and Khris Middleton added 14 points each. 


The Washington Wizards once again displayed a weak defense and a 127-112 defeat to the Memphis Grizzlies was inevitable. Bradley Beal led the team with 21 points, five assists, and three steals. Russell Westbrook was right behind with a double-double of 20 points and game-high ten dimes, along with five rebounds and three thefts, while Deni Avdija and Davis Bertans scored 13 points apiece.

Sacramento Kings @ Atlanta Hawks – 7:30PM ET

The Sacramento Kings returned from the All-Star break with a 125-105 victory over the Houston Rockets. De’Aaron Fox led Sacramento with 30 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, and two steals. Harrison Barnes and Richaun Holmes recorded identical double-doubles of 20 points and 11 boards, while Buddy Hield had 20 points, seven dishes, six rebounds, and a couple of thefts. 


The Atlanta Hawks are on a three-game winning streak. Their latest 121-120 win over the Toronto Raptors was particularly pleasing considering they were down by 15 points in the fourth quarter.

Tony Snell handed Atlanta a victory with a buzzer-beating three-pointer. Trae Young led Atlanta with 37 points, six assists, and five rebounds. Danilo Gallinari contributed with 20 points, five boards, and two steals, Kevin Huerter scored 19 points, while John Collins finished the game with 13 points, eight rebounds, and two rejections.

Portland Trail Blazers @ Minnesota Timberwolves – 8PM ET

The Minnesota Timberwolves snapped a nine-game losing skid with an unexpected and massive 135-105 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. Still, they are at the bottom of the West with the league’s worst 8-29 record.

Jaylen Nowell led them with a career-high 28 points, six assists, and five rebounds. Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels combined for 47 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 16 points and seven boards.
