Portland Trail Blazers @ New York Knicks – 1PM ET

The Portland Trail Blazers face the New York Knicks on Saturday afternoon at Madison Square. Seemingly in decent shape, the Blazers have emerged victorious in 4 out of the last 7 games played.

They will be aiming for their third consecutive win, having thrashed the Philadelphia 76ers in a thrilling 121-105 win last Thursday. Gary Trent Jr. was the man of the game, chipping in 24 points on 8/23 shooting.

Carmelo Anthony followed, adding 22 points and 5 assists. The first half saw the contest get really heated up, before things turned around for the Trail Blazers in the 3rd quarter.


Unfortunately, Damian Lillard had to sit out in this game, although he is expected to be back on Saturday. The New York Knicks, on the other hand, have been having a hard time keeping up, having lost 5 games out of the last 7 they have played.

However, after a long awaited win last Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls, they are aiming at rebuilding some momentum. Julius Randle led the Knicks, earning 27 points and 6 assists on 11/20 shooting.

Elfrid Payton chipped in with 20 more points, 4 assists and 8 rebounds. The Knicks started off well, leading with 19 points, then got even more aggressive at the second half, claiming the much needed victory.

Denver Nuggets @ Sacramento Kings – 5PM ET

The Sacramento Kings aim at keeping up score as they face Denver Nuggets at the Golden 1 Center on Saturday. The Kings will be getting into this game in great stead, having won the last two games.

Kings’ last 116-111 victory against Boston Celtics on Wednesday gives them great confidence that they will triumph over the Nuggets. The future games for Sacramento Kings won’t be offering them much of a rest seeing as they will most likely offer a challenge during playoff finishes.


During the game against the Celtics, De’Aaron Fox scored 26 points and dished 11 dimes, recording a double-double. The entire season has seen Fox showcase consistency, averaging 22.3 points-per-game.

Buddy Hield recorded an impressive double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. The Nuggets too are well fit to contest for a spot at the season’s playoffs. While they are not likely to finish off among the top teams given their overall win percentage, the Nuggets have showcased excellence during their last 10 games, having won 7.

Their most recent success at home has been against Utah Jazz, winning 128-117. Nikola Jokic has been the team’s shining light, staring all through his Denver stay. During this game, Nikola scored 47 points, while Michael Porter Jr., Will Barton and Jamal Murray all scored in double-figures.

Chicago Bulls @ Orlando Magic – 7PM ET

The Chicago Bulls meet Orlando Magic on Saturday for some hot NBA action at Amway Center. After losing 5 out of their last 6 games played, the Bulls really do need a win on Saturday.

Zach LaVine and Lauri Markkanen are averaging 5.2 assists and 26.5 points and 6.2 rebounds and 19.6 points respectively. On average, Bulls are shooting 37.5% and 79.3% beyond the Arc and the free-throw line respectively.


The team’s average rebounds-per-game is 44. Orlando Magic, on the other hand, needs a win so bad, having lost in 10 games out of 13 played. Nikola Vucevic, Magic’s leading scorer, averages 11.2 rebounds and 22.5 points, followed by Evan Fournier at 3.6 assists and 17.6 points.

Terrence Ross and Aaron Gordon are next in line when it comes to players that could see Orlando Magic redeem itself.  On average, Orlando Magic are shooting 34.9% and 78.9% beyond the Arc and the free-throw line respectively.

Brooklyn Nets @ Philadelphia 76ers – 8PM ET

After hosting Toronto Raptors this Friday, Brooklyn Nets will be on a back to back contest, playing against Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.

Brooklyn Nets have shown a remarkable improvement (14-9), after a 124-120 triumph over Los Angeles Clippers last Tuesday. Kyrie Irvin, earned the Nets 39 points.

Kevin Durant, Brooklyn’s top scorer averages 30.8 points-per-game and James Harden, the team’s leader in assists and rebounds averages 12.0 assists and 8.2 rebounds per game.


The Brooklyn Nets, as a team, have an average of 122.2 points per-game, allowing for 117.8 points on average per game. Philadelphia 76ers aim at bouncing back, after their loss of 121-105 to Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday, which saw them drop 16-7.

Currently, the 76ers are two games ahead of Brooklyn Nets in the Atlantic Division. Joel Embiid, Philadelphia’s top rebounder and scorer, averages 11.8 rebounds and 29.1 points-per-game.

Ben Simmons, the team’s assists leader, averages 7.9 assists per game. On average, Philadelphia 76ers score 113.7 points, allowing for 110.2 points-per-game

Toronto Raptors @ Atlanta Hawks – 8PM ET

The Toronto Raptors will join in on a back to back 2nd half contest as they face Atlanta Hawks at the State Farm Arena on Saturday, after playing Brooklyn Nets on Friday.

The Raptors might currently be at the bottom position in the Atlantic Division, but they have triumphed in two straight games. The team’s most recent win was a 123-108 victory over Orlando Magic.

On Tuesday, in a game against Charlotte Hornets, Fred VanVleet set a new franchise (Toronto) record, scoring 54 points. With this new record, Fred became Raptors’ top scorer recording an average  of 20.4 points, and 6.2 assists.


Kyle Lowry is the team’s top performer in assists, averaging 7.1 in a game and 17.4 points in average scores per game. The Hawks, currently at 10-12 are seemingly struggling, despite having tied at the top position with Charlotte Hornets, in the Southeast Division.

The Hawks have lost three games straight and four more in the last games played. Their most recent loss was a 112-91 smack down from Utah Jazz on Thursday, after losing to Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Cleveland Cavaliers – 8PM ET

NBA action gets heated as Milwaukee Bucks head over to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse to face Cleveland Cavaliers. The Bucks have won consecutively in their last few games, easily ranking second in scoring in the league.

The Bucks’ most recent victory was on Wednesday in a game against Indiana, where the team enjoyed a 17-points lead in the first half, ultimately cruising to a 130-110 lead.


The day’s man of the match was Giannis Antetokounmpo who scored 21 points, 10 assists and 14 rebounds. Bobby Portis chipped in with 18 points, and 9 rebounds.

Cleveland Cavaliers have lost in 5 games out of the last 7 played, and are currently ranked as the NBA’s second worst team in scoring.

Their most recent loss happened on Wednesday, after the Los Angeles Clippers outscored them by 19 points, with the game ending at 121-99 in the second half. San Antonio Spurs @ Houston Rockets – 8PM ET

San Antonio Spurs are set to face their fellow Southeast Division rivals, Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center on Saturday Night. The Spurs are currently 12-10 and have won four of their previous six games, so they are getting on a roll.

They are scoring 111.2 points per contest. On Wednesday, San Antonio was about to outscore Minnesota by 14 points during the fourth quarter to finish strong with a 111-108 home victory.


San Antonio G DeMar DeRozan led all scorers with 30 points to go along with eight rebounds and six assists. Dejounte Murray contributed 15 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists for the Spurs.

The Houston Rockets have won seven of their last eight games and have moved on well from the James Harden trade. On Thursday, Houston outscored Memphis by 13 points during the second quarter and cruised to a 115-103 road triumph. The Rockets are currently 11-10 and they connected on 19-for-45 from beyond the arc and shot 47 percent overall.

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Oklahoma City Thunder – 8PM ET

The Minnesota Timberwolves are hoping to snap a two-game losing streak when traveling to play against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday.

Minnesota dropped to an unimpressive 5-16 following their 111-108 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. Minnesota squandered a 16-point lead in the loss, and the Timberwolves have now lost six of their last seven and 10 of their last 12.

Malik Beasley is the leading scorer for Minnesota with an average of 20.1 points per game, while D’Angelo Russell is close behind with an average of 19.9 points per game. Minnesota is scoring an average of 106.4 points per game and allowing an average of 115.4 points per game.


The Oklahoma City Thunder look for its second consecutive victory when hosting Minnesota on Friday. The Thunder improved 9-11 following a 104-87 victory over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.

Kenrich Williams was the leading scorer for Oklahoma City with 19 points and the Thunder bounced back from a loss of 30 points to Houston on Monday. Oklahoma City is fourth in the Northwest division 6 ½  games behind first-place Utah.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the leading scorer and leader in assists for Oklahoma City with averages of 21.8 points and 6.3 assists per game, while Darius Bazley is the leading rebounder with an average of 7.2 per game.

Oklahoma City has a lot of players pulling their weight with six players averaging double-figures in scoring. As well as this, the Thunder are scoring an average of 107.1 points per game while allowing an average of 114.1 points per game.

Golden State Warriors @ Dallas Mavericks – 8:30PM ET

The Golden State Warriors are looking for another win against the Mavericks when visiting Dallas on Saturday. Golden State has managed to improve to 12-10 following a 147-116 rout of the Mavericks on Thursday. Golden State used a small lineup for the first time this season and ran away with the victory.

Stephen Curry is the leading scorer for Golden State with an average of 28.2 points per game, while James Wiseman is the leading rebounder with an average of 6.1 per game and Draymond Green is the leader in assists with an average of 7.1 per game.

Golden State has five players averaging double-figures in scoring and as a team they are scoring an average of 113.7 points per game while allowing an average of 113.3 points per game.


Dallas dropped to 9-14 following its loss on Thursday to the Golden State Warriors. Dallas has lost seven of its last eight with only a victory over the Atlanta Hawks mixed in. Dallas has lost six straight games at home.

Luka Doncic is, unsurprisingly, leading Dallas in scoring, rebounding and assists with averages of 27.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 9.4 assists per game. Kristaps Porzingis is the second leading scorer for Dallas with an average of 19.4 points per game.

Dallas has five players averaging double-figures in scoring, showing that they are really sharing the love around, and as a team the Mavericks are scoring an average of 109.6 points per game while allowing an average of 112.5 points per game.

Memphis Grizzlies @ New Orleans Pelicans – 9PM ET

The Memphis Grizzlies look to snap a two-game losing streak when visiting the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday. Memphis have now dropped to 9-8 following their 115-103 loss to the Houston Rockets on Thursday. Memphis is in second place in the Southwest Division a half-game behind first-place San Antonio.

Ja Morant is the leading scorer and leader in assists for Memphis with averages of 18.9 points and 7.0 assists per game. The leading rebounder is Jonas Valanciunas with an average of 10.4 per game. Memphis is scoring an average of 109.8 points per game while allowing an average of 109.3 points per game.

New Orleans will finish off their back-to-back games on Saturday when hosting the Grizzlies after playing away on Friday against the Indiana Pacers. New Orleans have now improved to 8-12 for the season following its 123-101 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday.


Zion Williamson is the leading scorer for New Orleans with an average of 23.7 points per game, while Brandon Ingram is the second-leading scorer and leader in assists with averages of 23.4 points and 4.7 assists per game.

Steven Adams is the leading the way for the team when it comes to rebounds, with an average of 9.9 per game. New Orleans is scoring an average of 111.1 points per game while allowing an average of 112.5 points per game.

Detroit Pistons @ Los Angeles Lakers – 10PM ET

Los Angeles has four players averaging double-figures in scoring, which just shows how many star players they have in the side. As a team, they are scoring an average of 111.9 points per game while they allow an average of 103.6 points per game.
