We have all of the answers for you below, so don’t miss out on our NBA picks for Saturday, April 17th!

Utah Jazz @ Los Angeles Lakers – 4:30PM ET

This has got to be the game of the day, where the Los Angeles Lakers take on the top of the table Utah Jazz at Staples Center. The Jazz played on Friday against the Indiana Pacers, where they were once again victorious, 119-111. This has meant the Jazz have now moved to 26-3 at home for this season and an overall record of 42-14. With the Lakers playing at home, they really need to take advantage of this.

The Lakers are coming off a day’s rest, after going down to the Boston Celtics on Thursday, 121-113. This has moved their season record to 34-22. A team that was once at the top of the table and riding high from last season’s championship, is now having to scrap it out and try to limit the amount of damage done without their key players, James and Davis.

Last month the Lakers lost 7 games, and April so far hasn’t been that crash hot either. Despite having their two key players, they have managed some good wins, against the Raptors and Net, but on the flip side they have also seen a number of losses, against the Celtics and Clippers, which really puts them on the back foot, especially when they are now coming up against the mighty Utah Jazz.

Utah Jazz have been really killing it this season so far. They have had the slightest dip in form, but they are still one of the best teams in the league and it will take an almighty fight from the Lakers to beat them. The two teams played a couple of weeks ago and it was the Lakers who came out on top, 114-89. However, with the lineup that the Utah Jazz have, and the lineup that the Los Angeles Lakers don’t have, should see the Jazz come away with the win.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Chicago Bulls – 8PM ET

The Cavaliers are on the road when they take on the Bulls at United Center in Chicago. Cleveland are coming off a home loss against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, 119-101. The Chicago Bulls played on Friday night against the Memphis Grizzlies, where the lost 126-115.

In Cleveland’s loss to the Golden State Warriors, it was Collin Sexton that was probably the player of the game. He managed to get 30 points, 4 rounds and 2 assists. The Cavaliers current record is 20-35 for the season so far. They are also averaging just under 104 points per game, 42.6 rebounds per game and are 74% from the free throw line.

The Bulls current record is 22-32 for the season so far. They are also averaging around 112 points per game, 44.7 rebounds per game and are just over 80% from the free throw line.

With similar records and form as of late, it is difficult to pick, but will be a very interesting game to watch. As the Bulls have the home court advantage and the fact they have players like LaVine playing well as of late, we would lean slightly towards the Bulls.

Golden State Warriors @ Boston Celtics – 8:30PM ET

Another game on the road for the Golden State Warriors, playing against the Boston Celtics at TD Garden. The Warriors last played on Thursday when they took on the Cleveland Cavaliers and won pretty convincingly, 119-101. That win against the Cavaliers have moved the Warriors overall season record to a more respectable 28-28.

The Celtics are also coming off a Thursday win, against the struggling Los Angeles Lakers, 121-113. The win against the Lakers moved the Celtics overall season record to 30-26. With both teams having recent wins under their belt, and both being in really good form as of late, who will be able to keep the momentum going, and who will fall short?

The Golden State Warriors are on a little bit of a run at the moment, they have won 5 of their last 6 and with Steph Curry firing on all cylinders it’s hard to see when this hot streak will come to an end.

He is certainly the player that is leading the team at the moment, and in his last game he managed to get a decent 33 points. The thing that has impressed people the most about this team at the moment is the intensity, and fans are hoping they can keep it up.

The Celtics have finally started playing at the potential that everyone thought they could, and it’s exciting to watch. Much like the Warriors, the Celtics are on a hot streak as well, winning 7 of their last 8. Other teams in the Eastern Conference are starting to get a bit nervous about the Celtics, now that it looks like they have finally clicked.

Jalyon Brown is on fire lately, getting a whopping 40 points last game. They also have a number of other star players to share the load, and it is this reason we give the slight edge to the Celtics.

Memphis Grizzlies @ Milwaukee Bucks – 9PM ET

The Memphis Grizzlies play another game on the road, this time against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Grizzlies last played on Friday where they won against the Chicago Bulls, 126-115, taking their overall season record to 27-26. The Milwaukee Bucks played on the road against the Atlanta Hawks where they won, 120-109, taking their overall season record to 35-20.

The Grizzlies’ form as of late hasn’t been that good, losing three of their last four, but with a win in the books, they will be desperate to go back to back and ensure they keep a winning record moving into the latter part of the season.

Ja Morant continues to be a star player for the Grizzlies, averaging just under 19 points per game and 7.4 assists per game. The Grizzlies are getting on average around 113 points per game while allowing 111 points per game.

The Bucks are looking to go four from four on Saturday with a win against the Grizzlies. With the star studded line up, it’s not surprising that the Bucks have been performing very well this season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has returned to the court and was very helpful in their last win against the Hawks. He is the leader for the Bucks in terms of scoring, with 28.8 points per game and Khris Middleton is second with an average of 20.4 points per game.

With the likes of Antetokounmpo and Middleton, along with a very deep roster, we like the look of the Bucks taking home the win and going four from four. They also are coming off a full day’s rest, whereas the Grizzlies played yesterday, so the Bucks players will be a bit fresher as well.

San Antonio Spurs @ Phoenix Suns – 10PM ET

The Phoenix Suns are coming off a win against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night, 122-114. This has taken the Suns’ season record to 40-15. Whereas the San Antonio Spurs are coming off the narrowest of losses against the Portland Trail Blazers, 107-106. With this loss it puts the Spurs at 26-28 for the season so far.

It really looks like the Spurs can’t catch a break at the moment, and their last game is a perfect example of how they are so close, yet so far. San Antonio have lost six of their last eight and need to start doing everything they can to stop the bleeding. But it will be definitely a difficult task against an in form Suns team.

It’s a stack contrast for the Suns, they are looking for win number five in a row! The depth of their star players is really helping them maintain such a dominant record for the season.

Devin Booker is at the top of his game at the moment and really helping his team come home with some nice wins. He is also the leading scorer for the team, currently sitting at 25.7 points per game. With the form of the two teams it is easy to see who the Suns are our pick.
