Free NBA Picks Today for Saturday, April 10th, 2021
Sat 10th April 2021

We have gone and selected the best five games of tonight’s action and are confident we have another five winners for our followers.

We have all the answers and the best game by game analysis in our NBA picks below.

Toronto Raptors @ Cleveland Cavaliers – 7:30PM ET

With the Raptors five wins off a play in berth and the Cavaliers six this clash is all geared up to be both a tightly and physically contested encounter. Plus, it only gets better and better when you factor in the form of unheralded x-factors such as Chris Boucher – TOR (38PTS, 19REB and 1AST last game) and Isaiah Hartenstein – CLE (8PTS, 12REB and 6AST last match).

Toronto has 20 wins on the season and Cleveland 19 with each side holding down the 11th and 12th seeds in the East respectively. The Raptors are down on form currently having lost 6 of their last 8, for the Cavs it’s 5 losses in 7. Even their form is similarly identical to one another.

The standouts from the Raptors latest 122-113 loss to the Bulls were Pascal Siakim who shot 10/17 en route to 27PTS. He also had 8REB and 1AST. While OJ Anunoby still scored 13PTS, despite his horrific 29.4% shooting accuracy. He also ended up with 4REB, 6AST and 3STL.

For the Cavs their latest victory came in the form of an emphatic 129-102 victory over the Thunder. Collin Sexton led the way with 21PTS, while Darius Garland posted 21PTS. And off the bench Taurean Prince scored 22PTS. Six-players came up with double-digit points for them.

Despite these two previous powerhouses suffering a hit in form, this should still produce a classic encounter.

Los Angeles Lakers @ Brooklyn Nets – 8:30PM ET

Who doesn’t love a matchup between two of the NBA’s glamour teams? Even with their current injury crisis, Los Angeles are still the reigning champs. Whilst for Brooklyn they’re the favourites to take over that mantle from the Lakers at season’s end. What a game we should have on our hands here!

In the Lakers last match, they pushed the Heat all the way to the end as they went down 110-104. Q3 was a big one as they went down 29-24 in a period that had an influential impact on the outcome.

As for the Nets they tore the Pelicans to shreds winning 139-111. Just in Q2 alone they prevailed 43-26.

LA played hard all the way as they converted 44.3% of their FG attempts and went 12/35 from deep. The charge was led by former Piston Kentavious Caldwell-Pope as he scored 28PTS, hitting a lights out 11/20 from the floor. While the rest of his starting five helped him out convincingly as the likes of Andre Drummond came up with 12PTS and 15REB. While Dennis Schroder had 10PTS and 14AST.

For Brooklyn they hit 19/41 3-pointers, along with a great team-effort of 37 dimes. Kevin Durant replayed his OKC days as he scored 17PTS and also had 5AST.

The Nets might have the star talent currently but the Lakers will more than make a game of it.

Sacramento Kings @ Utah Jazz – 9PM ET

This clash sees the Kings take on the Jazz in a game both sides want to win. For Sacramento they sit in 12th currently and are now on 30 defeats for the campaign. As for Utah they have been strongly lately going 8-2 over their past 10 games, but a victory here would further consolidate them as the best in the NBA.

Sacramento have lost their last five clashes in a row with the latest being by 12-points to Detroit. Buddy Heild was commanding from deep as he hit five threes. And Hassan Whiteside was another as he scored 10PTS, had 3REB and 1BLK to his name.

For Utah some of their wins have been straight up outrageous lately in terms of how much they’re proving victorious and that was again on show as they beat up Portland by 19-points. Not only did they keep both Lillard and McCollum to 8/21 shooting each, but they also had Donovan Mitchell score 37PTS. That while Rudy Gobert produced 18PTS and pulled in a humongous 20 boards.

Off the pine as well Joe Ingles scored 13PTS, Georges Niang 10PTS and Derrick Favors 7PTS. Ingles also dished out 6 dimes and went a perfect 3/3 from the FT line. Even if ‘Sac Towns’ starters manage to keep up with Utah’s, the Jazz’s bench should be far too powerful here.

Washington Wizards @ Phoenix Suns – 10PM ET

Russell Westbrook! The former MVP and 9X All-Star produced yet another triple-double recently, this time in his side’s thrilling 110-107 victory over the Warriors. The former NO.4 overall pick came up with 19PTS, 14REB and 14AST.

While 7X All-NBA Defensive First Team member Chris Paul came up with 13PTS, 7REB and 3AST in Phoenix’s 113-103 loss to the Clippers. The PG battle is bound to light up this affair!

The Wizards are currently the 13th seed in the East and the Suns 2nd in the West. So, if Westbrook and his side are to take this game out then he’ll need some certified help. Who better to help him then former Suns big Alex Len coming up against his old side? Against Golden State he did a bit of everything with 15PTS, 5REB, 1AST, 2STL and 1BLK.

When you assess the Suns they were dreadful from beyond the arc in their 10-point loss to LA. They converted just 6/24 (25.0%) of their three-point attempts. Even against a side as inconsistent as the Wizards they won’t get anywhere with that kind of brick house building. The likes of Paul (0/3 from deep) and Devin Booker (0/2) need to come up with something a whole lot better in this one.

With both sides in it to win it this’ll be fun!

Houston Rockets @ Golden State Warriors – 10PM ET

When Houston and Golden State last went H2H it was the Warriors who prevailed in the end by 14-points. Prior to that they had met countless times in the finals. While nobody can forget the classic performances of Curry and Thompson vs Harden and Gordon. These two teams have a heated history to say the least and another fiery affair should no doubt be on show here.

The Rockets have been downright terrible this season with a 14-38 record. While the Warriors have perhaps been bearable, but only just, as they have a 24-28 record.

Houston’s superstar this season has arguably been 25-year-old F/C Christian Wood. The former Milwaukee Bucks is having an unprecedented season close to the hoop as he’s averaging 21.0PPG and 9.3RPG.

As for Golden State it would probably have to be Kelly Oubre Jr. as he’s putting up numbers this campaign of 15.1PPG and 6.0RPG. The physicality of his upcoming battle against Wood is something that is a major selling point for this match and one that should be watched closely throughout the encounter.

Those two lads might not be the most well-known names in the business, but they are two both incredibly strong and charismatic players nevertheless. Their impact shouldn’t be understated here, especially Oubre for the Warriors, as they try desperately to jump into the West’s upper echelon of teams.
