Miami Heat @ Denver Nuggets – 8:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Miami Heat looked very sluggish in game number one of the NBA finals and many people would have predicted that after their gruelling Eastern Conference Finals series with the Boston Celtics. Now they will be looking to bounce back in game number two of the series here on Sunday evening in Denver. They will need to improve upon their shooting performance after Max Strus went zero for nine from behind the arc in game number one. If Strus can play better than the Miami Heat will have a much better chance to win this game here on Sunday in Denver. They will also have to find a way to stop Nikola Jokić in this game as well.

The Denver Nuggets looked incredible in the opening game of the NBA Finals series. Now they will be looking to replicate that performance here in the second game of the series on Sunday night at home. They shut down the Miami Heat offense and Nikola Jokić had his way with Cody Zeller throughout the entirety of game number one. Jokić would post a triple double in route to the Nuggets victory and he will also be looking to replicate that performance here in the second game of the series. I expect both Jokić and the Nuggets to have similar performances, and for Denver to take a two games to zero lead over the Miami Heat.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:
