The teams are meeting for the first time this season. Houston and Detroit split their matchups last season, winning one apiece. The Rockets got the win in the last meeting 116-107 at Little Caesars Arena in December 2021.
Christian Wood led the Rockets with 21 points, while Eric Gordon played a key role with 18 points. Bey had 23 points in the losing effort. Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr., averaging 21.7 and 19.2 points per game, respectively, have led the Rockets in scoring this season.
Porter Jr. also has dished 5.6 assists per game. Meanwhile, Alperen Sengun is grabbing 8.9 rebounds per game. Bojan Bogdanovic’s 21.3 points per game have powered the Pistons on offense. Jalen Duren is averaging 8.7 rebounds per game, and Killian Hayes is recording 5.7 assists.
The Rockets are 2-2 in four games at Little Caesars Arena. Houston is looking to end an eight-game losing skid away from Toyota Center this season. Detroit is looking to avoid a fifth successive loss at home this season.
