The Chicago Bulls (6-9, 4-4 Home) will be looking to halt their losing run when they play host to the Orlando Magic (4-11, 0-6 Away) on Friday.Orlando was dismantled by the Minnesota Timberwolves 126-108 at Amway Center on Wednesday.
Bol Bol led the way in defeat with 26 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocks. The Magic are 13th in the Eastern Conference. Chicago lost their third in a row on Wednesday at Smoothie King Center, falling to the New Orleans Pelicans 124-110.
DeMar DeRozan had 28 points and seven assists in the losing effort to lead the team. The Bulls are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference. The teams are meeting for the first time this season.
Chicago won three out of four games between the teams last season, including a 126-115 triumph in their last meeting at United Center on February 1. DeRozan led the Bulls with 29 points and 10 rebounds.
Wendell Carter Jr. had 24 points and six assists in the losing effort.The Magic have been led this season by Paolo Banchero, who is averaging 23.5 points per game, best in the league. Meanwhile, Carter Jr. is grabbing 9.1 rebounds per game, most in the NBA, and Franz Wagner is dishing 4.4 assists (1st).
DeRozan and Zach LaVine have powered the Bulls on offense, averaging 24.1 and 22.2 points per game, respectively. DeRozan leads the league in scoring, while LaVine is first. DeRozan also has tallied 4.4 assists per game, most in the league. Nikola Vucevic has pulled down 11.4 rebounds per game.
The Magic have struggled in recent trips to United Center, losing eight of the last 10. Orlando has yet to win away from Amway Center this season.
