Chicago won three out of four games between the teams last season, including a 122-115 triumph in their last meeting at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on February 4, their third straight head-to-head victory.
Nikola Vucevic led the Bulls with 36 points, 17 rebounds, four assists, and three blocks. Caris LeVert had 42 points and eight assists in defeat. The Pacers have been led early this season by Haliburton and Bennedict Mathurin, who are averaging 24.0 and 22.3 points per game, respectively. Haliburton also has dished 9.8 assists per game, third-most in the league.
Meanwhile, Jalen Smith is grabbing 8.8 rebounds per game. DeRozan has supplied much of the Bulls’ offense, averaging 26.8 points per game. DeRozan also has tallied 5.3 assists per game. Vucevic has collected 13.0 rebounds per game. The Pacers are 7-3 in the last 10 trips to United Center.
