The Hornets are 14th in the Eastern Conference. The teams are meeting for the final time this season. Charlotte will be aiming for a season sweep against Houston after taking the only previous meeting 122-117 at Toyota Center on January 18.
Green topped all players in scoring with 41 points and seven assists in the loss. Terry Rozier had 26 points for the Hornets, while Mason Plumlee was a key contributor with 17 points and nine rebounds. The Rockets have been led this season by Green and Kevin Porter Jr., who are averaging 22.2 and 19.0 points per game, respectively.
Porter Jr. also has dished 5.7 assists per game. Meanwhile, Sengun is grabbing 8.8 rebounds per game. Rozier’s 21.1 points per game have powered the Hornets on offense. Rozier also has tallied 5.1 assists per game. Plumlee has pulled down 9.7 rebounds per game.
The Rockets have found success in recent games at Spectrum Center, winning six of the last 10. Houston is seeking to reverse a six-game road losing streak this season.
