The Washington Wizards (10-9, 3-5 Away) will try to slow down the league’s top scoring team when they head to face the Boston Celtics (15-4, 8-1 Home) on Sunday.

Boston won their seventh straight home game in dominating fashion on Friday at TD Garden, beating the Sacramento Kings 122-104. Jayson Tatum had 30 points and eight rebounds to lead the team.
The Celtics are 1.5 games ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks atop the Eastern Conference, currently sitting in first. The teams are meeting for the last time this season.
Boston will be seeking a season sweep against Washington after winning the only earlier meeting 112-94 at TD Garden on October 30, their third straight head-to-head victory. Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 24 points, while Malcolm Brogdon contributed 23 points, four assists, and two rebounds.
Kristaps Porzingis had 17 points and 13 rebounds in the losing effort. Porzingis and Kyle Kuzma, averaging 20.3 and 20.3 points per game, respectively, are leading the Wizards in scoring this season. Both are among the NBA’s top scorers, as Porzingis is No. 1 and Kuzma is first.
