Baltimore Orioles @ Boston Red Sox – 1:35PM ET

The Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox will be playing the fourth game of their five-game series in this one. The Baltimore Orioles won game one on Friday and then split a doubleheader on Saturday.

Tony Battalio

The Baltimore Orioles have all the momentum in this series going into the fourth game of this rare five-game series on Sunday. They got the win to open up the series then they split a doubleheader on Saturday. Now they will head into Sunday’s game looking to secure the series win, as they will have chances to do so and grab a much-needed series win over their division rivals. The Orioles are coming into this game with a record of 20-28 through their first 48 games of the season.

The Boston Red Sox will be looking to bounce back after splitting Saturday’s doubleheader. They are coming into this game three game’s under the .500 mark with a record of 22-25 through their first 47 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. Boston is starting Rich Hill in this game as he comes into this start with a record of 1-2 with a 3.86 Earned Run Average. As for the result of this one I am going with the Boston Red Sox to grab the win.

Tony’s MLB Pick: Boston Red Sox (-190)

Jeffery Thomas

The Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles split their doubleheader on Saturday and will now continue with their rare 5-game series on Sunday. The Orioles will be turning to Bruce Zimmerman on the mound who has been a bit of a bright spot in their rotation and organization as a whole.

It’s his first season and he started pretty strong, giving up 2 runs or fewer in six of his first seven starts. The wheels are coming off a bit as he’s now given up 9 runs in his last two outings and now he gets to face this potent Boston offense for the first time. I think the Sox can get to the young pitcher early and often and will be able to ride that early leading out to a nice victory for their home fans to end the weekend.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: Boston Red Sox (-190)

Marko Nadin

The Boston Red Sox are fourth in AL East with a 22-25 record. The Red Sox have lost 3 of the last 5 games and currently are 1-2 down against the Orioles in the five-game series. Boston is fifth in the league scoring 4.76 runs per game and is 16th in the league allowing 4.40 runs per game. The Red Sox will start Nick Pivetta tonight who is 3-4 for the season with a 4.25 ERA. The Red Sox have won 6 of the last 8 home games and 5 of the last 7 games against teams with a losing record.

The Baltimore Orioles are at the bottom of the AL East with a 20-28 record. They have lost 3 of the last 5 games but are cooking off a 4-2 win over the Red Sox last night. Baltimore is 26th in the league scoring 3.76 runs per game and is ranked 19th in the league allowing 4.45 runs per game. The Orioles will start Bruce Zimmermann tonight who is 2-2 for the season with a 3.78 ERA. Baltimore has lost 20 of the last 28 games played on Sunday and 4 of the last 5 games against teams with a losing record.

Marko’s MLB Pick: Boston Red Sox (-190)

Cleveland Guardians @ Detroit Tigers – 1:40PM ET

The Cleveland Guardians and Detroit Tigers will be playing the third and final game of their rain-shortened four-game weekend series in this one. So far both teams have won, one game apiece heading into Sunday’s finale.

Tony Battalio

The Cleveland Guardians got a huge win on Saturday evening as they picked up a huge 8-1 victory over their American League Central division rivals, the Detroit Tigers. The Guardians now come into the final game of this rain-shortened four-game series looking to grab a series win here in game number three. They are coming into this game with a record of 19-23 through their first 42 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. Taking the mound for them in this one will be Tristian McKenzie who is 3-3 on the year with a 2.70 Earned Run Average.

The Detroit Tigers will be looking to bounce back after taking the series opener on Thursday but getting dominated in the second game of the series on Saturday. The loss drops the Tiger’s record to 16-29 through their first 45 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. Starting for the Tigers in this one will be Elvin Rodriguez who is 0-0 on the year with a massive 9.39 Earned Run Average. As for the result of this one I am going with the Cleveland Guardians to get the victory.

Tony’s MLB Pick: Cleveland Guardians (-158)

Jeffery Thomas

The Cleveland Guardians got an 8-1 victory over the Detroit Stivers on Saturday thanks in large part to Jose Ramirez and Shane Beiber. Ramirez homered and drove in five runs in the win while Beiber threw a season-high eight innings allowing just one run.

It was a nice bounce-back win for Cleveland after losing the series opener on Thursday and now will look to win this road series with a victory on Sunday. They have to fancy their chances with Triston McKenzie getting the start who has owned Detroit in his career. Detroit is at a severe pitching disadvantage with Elvin Rodriguez and his 9.39 ERA set to take the mound. I like the Guardians to make it two in a row on Sunday.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: Cleveland Guardians (-158)

Marko Nadin

The Detroit Tigers are fourth in the AL Central with a 16-29 record. They have lost 3 of the last 5 games and currently are 1-1 in the series against Cleveland. The Tigers are the worst offensive team in the league scoring only 2.83 runs per game and are ranked 13th in the league allowing 4.07 runs per game. Elvin Rodriguez will start tonight for the Tigers who have 9.39 ERA so far in the season. Detroit has won 4 of the last 5 home games and 5 of the last 7 games against teams with a losing record.

The Cleveland Guardians are third in the AL Central with a 19-23 record. They are coming off an 8-1 win over Detroit last night that put an end to their three-game losing streak. Cleveland is 8th in the league scoring 4.67 runs per game and is ranked 17th in the league allowing 4.40 runs per game. The Guardians will start Triston McKenzie tonight who is 3-3 for the season with a 2.70 ERA. Cleveland has won 4 of the last 5 games as a road favorite and have lost 7 of the last 9 games against a right-handed starter.

Marko’s MLB Pick: Cleveland Guardians (-168)

New York Yankees @ Tampa Bay Rays – 1:40PM ET

The New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays will be playing the fourth and final game of their four-game weekend series in this one. The New York Yankees won games one and two to clinch at least a share of the series but the Tampa Bay Rays bounced back in game three with a win.

Tony Battalio

The New York Yankees were coming into Saturday’s game having won the first two games of this four-game weekend series. After already clinching at least a share of the series they were looking to secure the series win. However, they came up short, and now they will be looking to bounce back on Sunday and avoid losing a second straight game to their American League East divisional rivals. The Yankees come into this game with a record of 33-14 through their first 47 games of the season.

The Tampa Bay Rays are coming into this game after getting a much-needed victory over the New York Yankees on Saturday. They will be coming into the final game of this series with a record of 27-19 through their first 46 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. They will need to grab the win in this one to secure a series split in this one and make up for the ground they lost in the first two games. As for the result of this game, I am going with the Tampa Bay Rays to grab the win.

Tony’s MLB Pick: Tampa Bay Rays (-134)

Jeffery Thomas

It took until game three of the series but the Tampa Bay Rays were finally able to get a win over the New York Yankees by a score of 3-1. It’s been a struggle at the plate for the Rays who have only scored 5 runs through the first three games so it seems another stellar pitching performance will be needed on Sunday for them to have a chance.

I think the Rays get that with Shane McClanahan who has only given up one earned run in his last three starts. The problem is Luis Severino should also have a great outing against the sputtering Tampa offense and that’s why I’m leaning towards the under in this game. The under has hit in all but one game in this series so I’m going right back to it on Sunday.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: Under Total Runs (-104)

Marko Nadin

The Tampa Bay Rays are second in the AL East with a 27-19 record. They have won 3 of the last 5 games and are coming off a 3-1 win over the Yankees last night. Tampa Bay is 18th in the league scoring 4.22 runs per game and is ranked 12th in the league allowing 3.96 runs per game. The Rays will start Shane McClanahan tonight who is 4-2 for the season with a 2.06 ERA. Tampa Bay has won 81 of the last 11 games against a right-handed pitcher and 61 of the last 90 home games.

The New York Yankees are on top of the AL East with a 33-14 record. Last night’s loss to the Ray spits an end to their four-game winning streak. The Yankees are on top of the league hitting 1.39 home runs per game and are the team that allows the least runs per game with 3.09. Luis Severino will start for the Yankees tonight who is 3-0 for the season with a 3.02 ERA. New York has won the last 7 games going in as an underdog and 10 of the last 11 games against teams with a winning record.

Marko’s MLB Pick: New York Yankees (+114)

Milwaukee Brewers @ St.Louis Cardinals – 2:15PM ET

The Milwaukee Brewers and St.Louis Cardinals will be playing the fourth and final game of their four-game weekend series in this one. The Milwaukee Brewers won game one but the St.Louis Cardinals bounced back with wins in games two and three.

Tony Battalio

The Milwaukee Brewers are coming into Sunday’s series finale looking to bounce back after losing two straight games over the weekend. They will need to grab a win in the finale to secure at least a share of this series against their National League Central division rivals. They come into this game with a record of 29-18 through their first 47 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season as they are still in the first place in the National League Central division at the moment.

The St.Louis Cardinals are having a decent start to the 2022 Major League Baseball season. As they come into this game with a record of 26-20 through their first 46 games of the season. They have won the last two games of this series and will be looking to clinch the series’ victory here on Sunday. They will be starting Miles Mikolas who is 3-2 on the season with a 1.96 Earned Run Average at the moment. As for the result of this game, I am going with the St.Louis Cardinals to grab another victory.

Tony’s MLB Pick: St.Louis Cardinals (+116)

Jeffery Thomas

The St.Louis Cardinals were led by a couple of rookies in Saturday’s 8-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. Nolan Gorman hit his first career home run and drove in four runs, while Matthew Liberatore earned his first career win, pitching five innings of shutout ball. What makes the story even better is the fact those two have been lifelong friends and played T-ball together as kids. They’re now living out their dreams as teammates and are going to be prominent pieces to a run at the playoffs this season.

The win closed the Brewers’ division lead to just 2.5 games and now the Cards will look to close it even more on Sunday with Miles Mikolas on the mound. Mikolas’ ERA sits at 1.96 on the year and will be facing off against Corbin Burnes and his 2.18 ERA. It’s going to be another pitching duel and we shouldn’t threaten this total 7. Two of the first three games of this series have either pushed or went under this number.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: Under Total Runs (-102)

Marko Nadin

The St. Louis Cardinals are second in the NL Central with a 26-20 record. They have won 6 of the last 8 games and are coming off an 8-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers last night. The Cardinals are fourth in the league scoring 4.94 runs per game and are ranked 8th in the league allowing 3.88 runs per game. They will start Miles Mikolas tonight who is 3-2 for the season and has a 1.96 ERA this season. The Cardinals have won 5 of the last 6 games against a right-handed pitcher and 24 of the last 32 games against NL Central opponents.

The Milwaukee Brewers are on top of the NL Central with a 29-18 record. They are coming off back-to-back losses against the Cardinals after winning the previous three games. The Brewers are 11th in the league scoring 4.56 and allowing 3.93 runs per game. Corbin Burnes will be the starting pitcher for the Brewers tonight he is 2-2 for this season with a 2.18 ERA. Milwaukee has won 4 of the last 5 games after allowing 5 runs or more in their previous game.

Marko’s MLB Pick: Milwaukee Brewers (-136)

Toronto Blue Jays @ Los Angeles Angels – 4:07PM ET

The Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Angels will be playing the fourth and final game of their four-game weekend series in this one. The Toronto Blue Jays won games one and two to clinch at least a share of the series. In-game three they won again to clinch the series victory and set up an opportunity for a sweep on Sunday.

Tony Battalio

The Toronto Blue Jays have gotten this series off to a fast start as they got some big wins in game one and game two of this series. They were expected to be one of the best teams in Major League Baseball this season, but haven’t had the hot start that they were expected to. However, this series could lead to them grabbing much-needed momentum and getting their season rolling in the right direction. They come into this game with a record of 26-20 through their first 46 games of the season.

The Los Angeles Angels will be looking to bounce back after dropping the first two games of this series. They are off to a decent start to the 2022 Major League Baseball season as they come into this game with a record of 27-21 through their first 48 games of the year. They are finally starting to put things together after struggling over the last handful of years despite the amount of talent on their roster. As for the result of this series finale, I am going with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Tony’s MLB Pick: Toronto Blue Jays (+102)

Jeffery Thomas

The Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Angels will wrap up their four-game weekend series Sunday afternoon on the West Coast. The Angels come into this series finale as the favorites despite losing each of the first three games.

The Blue Jays were able to hold on to a late lead and get a 6-5 win on Saturday as LA left the bases loaded to end the game. I think on Sunday the home Angels will be able to avoid the sweep, however, as they still have the better offense and will have a significant pitching advantage with Patrick Sandavol against Jose Berrios.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: Los Angeles Angels (-120)

Marko Nadin

The Los Angeles Angels are second in the AL West with a 27-21 record. They have lost the last 4 games including the first three of the series against the Toronto Blue Jays. The Angels are 6th in the league scoring 4.74 runs per game and are 6th in the league allowing 3.79 runs per game. The Angels will start Patrick Sandoval tonight who is 3-1 for the season with a 1.79 ERA. Los Angeles has won the last 6 games played on Sunday and 11 of the last 16 home games going in as favorites.

The Toronto Blue Jays are third in the AL East with a 26-20 record. They have won 6 of the last 8 games and are coming off three consecutive wins over the Angels. The Blue Jays are 25th in the league scoring 3.81 runs per game and are ranked 7th in the league allowing 3.87 runs per game. Toronto will start Jose Berrios tonight who is 3-2 for the season with a 4.75 ERA. The Blue Jays have won 17 of the last 22 games against an AL West opponent and have lost 4 of the last 6 road games as an underdog.

Marko’s MLB Pick: Los Angeles Angels (-120)
