The Atlanta Braves are having an okay season in terms of results so far but need to put in more consistent performance if they want to make the postseason, they are currently sitting on a 40-42 season record. They are currently the middle team in the East Division in the Nationals League, with the Mets and the Nationals the teams ahead of them.
The Braves have won five games out of their last ten, and this includes a series tie with the Reds (2-2) and a series win against the Mets (2-1). The Braves are in the top third of the league when it comes to average runs scored per game, at 4.74.
The Marlins are the underdogs for this final clash with the Braves, and their record when they are underdogs is not something to be envied, 7-15 in their previous 22 games. The thing we are most interested in seeing is the two starters, they are completely underrated and this has got to be their time to shine. We think the Braves are the better bet here, as we simply cannot trust the Marlins offense.

The game of the day for us! The first two games were so close they needed to go to extra innings, we are absolutely loving the drama that is on display here. The Athletics got a much needed win on Saturday night to keep their record looking good. The Red Sox are just on fire at the moment and we think they have the ability to bounce back quickly after a heartbreaking 12th innings loss.
