The Baltimore Orioles will be looking to capitalize on a huge opportunity and take two out of three games from the American League East division leading New York Yankees on Sunday afternoon. The Orioles will be riding a huge wave of momentum after their comeback win on Saturday evening. They come into the finale of this series with a record of 47-47 through their first 94 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. Despite their decent record they remain in last place of the division at the moment.

The St.Louis Cardinals have now won six out of their last 10 games on the season and come into the series finale on a one game winning streak. They have moved within 1 1/2 games back of the Milwaukee Brewers for first place in the National League Central division. 

It has been a rough up and down season for the Cincinnati Reds. At the start of the year they were the worst team in Major League Baseball, and while they have shown improvement since then it is still clear that they are not ready to compete for a playoff spot anytime in the near future. They come into the finale of this three game weekend series with a record of 35-58 through their first 93 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. As for the result of this one, I have the Cardinals taking the series finale as well.

However, they staged a huge comeback and would take the lead and held it all the way to the bottom of the eighth inning when they gave it up once again. They would go on to lose by a score of 4 to 5 and now have to win on Sunday to take three out of four games in this series and get the victory. 

The Chicago White Sox used a huge come from behind victory to take game two of Saturday’s doubleheader and now put themselves in a position to secure a split of the four game series on Sunday. It’s been a rough year for the White Sox after they were expected to be the clear favorite in the American League Central they have remained in third place for the majority of the year. They come into this series finale with a record of 47-48 through their first 95 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season

It’s been a rebuilding year for the Kansas City Royals as they are in last place in the American League Central division. They come into Sunday’s series finale with a record of 37-57 through their first 94 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. 

It’s been a quietly successful year for the Tampa Bay Rays as they have been above .500 for the majority of the year but because of the fact that they play in the American League East it doesn’t seem as impressive. They have been overshadowed by the New York Yankees this season. They come into this game with 52 wins and 10 games above the .500 mark looking to win another series here on Sunday. That is exactly what I expect as I have Tampa Bay grabbing the win here.
