New York Yankees @ Toronto Blue Jays – 3:07PM ET

The New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays will be playing the second game of their three-game weekend series here on Saturday. In-game one it was the New York Yankees who picked up the victory. Now they will be looking to clinch the series here in game number two.

Tony Battalio

The New York Yankees just continue to rack up victories as they now come into this game with a record of 48-16 through their first 64 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. They are running away with the American League East division at the moment, as they have built up a double-digit, eleven-game lead over the second place, Toronto Blue Jays. If game one of this series was any indication, then that lead is only going to get bigger before the series ends on Sunday evening.

The Toronto Blue Jays became the latest Yankees victim and now they will be looking to bounce back in game two of this three-game weekend series on Saturday. The Blue Jays record is now 37-27 after their loss on Friday night. They are the games above the .500 mark through their first 64 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. As for the result of this game, I am going with the Toronto Blue Jays to bounce back and grab the victory.

Tony’s MLB Pick: Toronto Blue Jays (-138)

Jeffery Thomas

What the New York Yankees are doing is something that needs to be taken seriously right now. We could be witnessing the 2022 World Series Champions and I think it’s time we start getting in our futures bets on that occurring because this team is looking far and away as the best in baseball. They got yet another win on Friday night (in blowout fashion) and have now won 8 straight games.

It’s their 15th win in the last 16 games as they just continue to build their lead for the best record in the league. Now we are getting the best team in the league coming off a blowout win as a pick ‘em for Saturday’s game and there’s no way I can not take that value. These guys are so much better than Toronto right now and at this price, this is an automatic bet for me.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: New York Yankees (+118)

Marko Nadin

The Toronto Blue Jays are second in the AL East with a 37-27 record. They have lost 3 of the last 5 games and are coming off a 12-3 loss to the Yankees which is their second consecutive game allowing 10 or more runs. The Blue Jays are 12th in the league scoring 4.62 runs per game and are ranked 12th with 4.19 allowed runs per game. Toronto will start Alek Manoah tonight who is 8-1 for the season with a 1.67 ERA. The Blue Jays have won 40 of the last 57-second games of a series and 11 of the last 16 games against a right-handed starter.

The New York Yankees are on top of the AL East with a 48-16 record. They have won 8 straight games including the series opener against Toronto. The Yankees are third in the league scoring 5.09 runs per game and are ranked the best in the league allowing 2.91 runs per game. The Yankees will start Jameson Taillon tonight who is 7-1 for the season with a 2.93 ERA. They have won 7 of the last 8 games as underdogs and 38 of the last 51 middle games of a series.

Marko’s MLB Pick: Toronto Blue Jays (-138)

San Francisco Giants @ Pittsburgh Pirates – 4:05PM ET

The San Francisco Giants and Pittsburgh Pirates will be playing the second game of their three-game weekend series here on Saturday. In-game one it was the San Francisco Giants who picked up the victory. Now they will be looking to clinch the series here in game number two

Tony Battalio

The San Francisco Giants picked up a decent win over the Pittsburgh Pirates in game one of this three-game weekend series. Now they will be looking to grab another one and clinch the series, while simultaneously setting up

the opportunity for a sweep on Sunday as well. The Giants come into this game with a record of 36-27 through their first 63 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. They are currently on a one-game winning streak and have won seven out of their last ten.

The Pittsburgh Pirates will be looking to bounce back in this one after their loss in game one. The tough stretch now continues for the Bucs as they have picked up only one victory in their last ten games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. They come into this game with a record of 25-38 through their first 63 games of the year and they are currently on a one-game losing streak as well. As for the result of this game, I am going with the San Francisco Giants to get the win and clinch the series victory on Saturday.

Tony’s MLB Pick: San Francisco Giants (-184)

Jeffery Thomas

The San Francisco Giants got off to a great start in this series by getting a shutout 2-0 victory on Friday night over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Carlos Rodon was in spectacular form as he pitched 8 innings only allowing two hits and striking out eight batters. The Giants have now won 6 of their last 7 games while the Pirates have lost 10 of their last 11.

Also, in three of the last four games, Pittsburgh has scored 1 or fewer runs and when a team is performing this badly there’s just no reason to back them. I’m going to ride the Giants once again to cover the run line on Saturday.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: San Francisco Giants -1.5 (-108)

Marko Nadin

The Pittsburgh Pirates are third in the NL Central with a 25-38 record. They have lost 10 of the last 11 games and failed to score in the series opener against the Giants. The Pirates are 28th in the league scoring 3.47 runs per game and 25th allowing 5.15 runs per game. They will start Jose Quintana tonight who is 1-4 for the season with a 3.53 ERA. The Pirates have won 5 of the last 7 games against NL West opponents and have lost 50 of the last 72 games against teams with a winning record.

The San Francisco Giants are third in the NL West with a 36-27 record. They have won 6 of the last 7 games and opened the series against the Pirates with a 2-0 win. The Giants are the fifth-best offensive team in the league scoring 4.90 runs per game and are ranked 13th in the league allowing 4.23 runs per game. They will start Alex Wood tonight who is 4-5 for the season with a 4.11 ERA. San Francisco has won the last five-second games of a series and 37 of the last 51 games against teams with a losing record.

Marko’s MLB Pick: San Francisco Giants (-184)

Tampa Bay Rays @ Baltimore Orioles – 4:05PM ET

The Tampa Bay Rays and Baltimore Orioles will be playing the second game of their three-game weekend series here on Saturday. In-game one it was the Baltimore Orioles who picked up the victory. Now they will be looking to clinch the series here in game number two

Tony Battalio

The Tampa Bay Rays had a little trouble showing up in game one of this three-game series against their American League East division rivals, the Baltimore Orioles. Their offense didn’t manufacture runs at all even though their pitching was impressive throughout the game. Now they will be looking to bounce back here in game two on Saturday, as they come into this game with a record of 35-29 through their first 64 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season.

The Baltimore Orioles will be looking to use the momentum from their game one victory to grab another win in this one and clinch the series. Baltimore comes into this game with a record of 29-37 through their first 66 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. While they are down this year, it’s clear how bright the future is as Adley Rutschman is going to be a star in this league sooner than later. As for the result of this game, however, I look for the Rays to bounce back with a much-needed victory.

Tony’s MLB Pick: Tampa Bay Rays (-166)

Jeffery Thomas

The Tampa Bay Rays flew into Baltimore on Friday to start their weekend series with the Orioles but legit to pack their offense along with them. They were shut out in the series opener 1-0 despite outhitting the Os eight to five. It’s the fourth consecutive loss for Tampa and they are also now losers of six of their last seven after finishing a swap of the Cardinals on June 9.

The pitching performance the Rays got on Friday will win them more games than they’ll lose so it’s just a matter of the offense showing up which shouldn’t be a problem on Saturday. They’ll be facing Kyle Bradish who is coming off an outing where he gave up 5 earned runs and his ERA on the year sits at 6.86. I like the Rays to snap their losing streak in this one, and by a comfortable margin.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: Tampa Bay Rays -1.5 (+112)

Marko Nadin

The Baltimore Orioles are at the bottom of the AL East with a 29-37 record. They have won 3 of the last 5 games but are coming off a 1-0 win in the series opener against the Rays. The Orioles are 23rd in the league scoring 4.15 runs per game and are ranked 22nd in the league allowing 4.75 runs per game. Baltimore will start Kyle Bradish tonight who is 1-4 for the season with a 6.86 ERA. The Orioles have lost 72 of the last 101 games against AL East opponents and 122 of the last 182 games as underdogs.

The Tampa Bay Rays are third in the AL East with a 35-29 record. They have lost the last 4 games scoring a total of 4 runs in that span. The Rays are 25th in the league scoring 4.08 runs per game and are ranked 5th in the league allowing 3.81 runs per game. Tampa Bay will start Jeffrey Springs tonight who is 3-2 for the season with a 1.45 ERA. The Rays have won 22 of the last 33 road games as favorites and 41 of the last 60 games played on Saturday.

Marko’s MLB Pick: Tampa Bay Rays (-166)

Los Angeles Angels @ Seattle Mariners – 4:10PM ET

The Los Angeles Angels and Seattle Mariners will be playing the third game of their five-game weekend series here on Saturday. In game one it was the Los Angeles Angels who picked up the victory. In game two the Seattle Mariners bounced back with a win.

Tony Battalio

The Los Angeles Angels will be looking to bounce back after their game two loss on Friday night. They have already won one in this series and now they will be looking to get game one of this day and night double header off on the right foot with a convincing victory. The Angels are still feeling the effects of that lengthy losing streak they were on and now they’ve also lost Anthony Rendon for the year as well. They come into this game with a record of 30-36 through their first 66 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season.

The Seattle Mariners will be looking to ride the momentum from their game two wins into both games of Saturday’s doubleheader. They come into game one of this doubleheader with a record of 29-36 through their first 65 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. The Mariners are still a very young team and that shows in their hot and cold streaks this season. As they have only picked up four wins in their last ten games of the year. As for the result of this one I am going with the Los Angeles Angels to get the win.

Tony’s MLB Pick: Los Angeles Angels

Jeffery Thomas

In Game 2 of this long five-game series between AL West rivals, it was the Seattle Mariners who prevailed and came out victorious in the game on Friday. This win for Seattle comes after they lost 4-1 in the series opener on Thursday in a game where Mike Trout went deep twice.

Both of these teams are struggling to put wins together at the moment so it’s possibly going to be a back-and-forth series with neither side holding a decisive edge. I think the edge in this game swings back towards the Angels though with Pablo Sandavol taking the mound. He’s been pretty steady for LA, giving up two runs or fewer in four of his last five outings. He is rare reliability for them at the moment and will be able to help them get back in the win column on Saturday in Game 1 of the doubleheader.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: Los Angeles Angels

Marko Nadin

The Seattle Mariners are fourth in the AL West with a 29-36 record. They have lost 3 of the last 5 games but are coming off an 8-1 win over the Angels last night. The Mariners are 26th in the league scoring 4.06 runs per game and 17th in the league allowing 4.33 runs per game. Seattle will start Chris Flexen tonight who is 2-8 for the season with a 4.30 ERA. Seattle has won the last 5 games opening a double-header and has lost 4 of the last 5 home games against teams with a losing record.

The Los Angeles Angels are third in the AL West with a 30-36 record. They have lost 4 of the last 5 games and are coming off a 1-8 loss to the Mariners. The Angels are 19th in the league scoring 4.35 runs per game and 14th in the league allowing 4.24 runs per game. The Angels will start Patrick Sandoval tonight who is 3-2 for the season with a 2.83 ERA. The Angels have won 4 of the last 5 games against AL West opponents and have lost 6 of the last 7 road games against teams with a losing record.

Marko’s MLB Pick: Los Angeles Angels

Cleveland GuardiansLos Angeles Dodgers – 7:15PM ET

The Cleveland Guardians and Los Angeles Dodgers will be playing the second game of their three-game weekend series here on Saturday. In game one it was the Cleveland Guardians who picked up the victory. Now they will be looking to clinch the series here in game number two

Tony Battalio

The Cleveland Guardians grabbed a huge win on Friday evening in what turned out to be an impressive game that ended in extra innings with a score of 2-1. Both of the runs for Cleveland were manufactured by Sacrifice Flies. The Guardians have been on a roll as of late as they have now won their last five games and have yet to drop a series in June. They come into game two of this series with a record of 33-27 through their first 60 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will be looking to bounce back after their loss in game one of the series. They come into this game with a record of 39-24 through their first 63 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. They have hit a bit of a slump as they have won only four games in their last ten of the year and now find themselves out of first place in the National League West division. As for the result of this game, I am going with the Cleveland Guardians to clinch the series victory.

Tony’s MLB Pick: Cleveland Guardians (+198)

Jeffery Thomas

The Cleveland Guardians are coming off a sweep of the Colorado Rockies and kept their winning ways against NL West opponents going on Friday night. They took down the Los Angeles Dodgers 2-1 in 10 innings to bring their winning streak up to five games and counting. Getting up to first place in the AL Central is also not out of the question as they are just 1 game back thanks to this recent surge of wins. The Dodgers have recently fallen out of first place in their division and now hope to turn things around starting on Saturday.

I don’t like their chances with Julio Urias going though, as he has just been in horrible form recently. He is 0-3 in his last four starts while Cleveland starter Cal Quantrill is a perfect 3-0 in his last three. The Dodgers may be the better team but recent play points to the Guardians who are not a team I’m looking to fade at the moment.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: Cleveland Guardians (+198)

Marko Nadin

The Los Angeles Dodgers are second in the NL West with a 39-24 record. They have lost 4 of the last 6 games and are coming off a 2-1 10th inning loss to the Guardians in the series opener. The Dodgers are ranked second in the league scoring 5.15 runs per game and are also second in the league allowing 3.34 runs per game. They will start Julio Urias tonight who is 3-6 for the season with a 2.80 ERA. The Dodgers have won 40 of the last 52-second games of a series and 20 of the last 26 games against AL Central teams.

The Cleveland Guardians are second in the AL Central with a 33-27 record. They have won the last 5 games, two of them in the extra inning. Cleveland is 10th in the league scoring 4.74 runs per game and is ranked 9th in the league allowing 4.09 runs per game. The Guardians will start Cal Quantrill tonight who is 4-3 for the season with a 3.38 ERA. Cleveland has won the last 5 road games and 4 of the last 5 games against a left-handed starter.

Marko’s MLB Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers (-240)
