San Francisco Giants @ Washington Nationals – 2.05PM ET

This Saturday afternoon clash between the San Francisco Giants and the Washington Nationals will be the second game of a four game mini series. The first game was played on Friday, where the Giants managed to get the win away from home, in a low scoring affair, winning 1-0.

The San Francisco Giants are having a fantastic season in terms of results so far, they are currently sitting on a 39-23 season record. They are the top team of their West Division in the National League, with the Dodgers their closest rivals, with 37 wins.

The Giants have won seven games out of their last ten, which includes a series win against the Cubs (3-1) and a series tie with the Ranges (1-1). The Giants are in the top third of the league when it comes to average runs scored per game, at 4.9.

The Washington Nationals are not having the season they would have hoped for, they are currently sitting on a 25-34 season record. They are currently the last team in the East Division in the National League, with the Mets leading the way with 30 wins so far.

The Nationals have only won four games out of their last ten, and this includes a series tie with the Braves (2-2) as well as a series loss to the Phillies (2-1). When it comes to average runs scored per game, they are in the bottom third of the league, with an average of 3.88.

This will be another interesting game between a team at the top of their division vs another that is at the bottom. Despite this contrast, the Nationals did not just roll over, only losing by one run. The Giants are a tough team to beat, and they just know how to get a win on any field, with any pitcher, against any opponent. So, expect more of the same on Saturday afternoon.

Kansas City Royals @ Oakland Athletics – 4.07PM ET

This Saturday afternoon clash between the Kansas City Royals and the Oakland Athletics will be the third game of a four game mini series. The first game was played on Thursday, where the Royals managed to get the win away from home, winning 6-1. The second game, which was played on Friday, was a lot closer, with the Athletics striking back, 4-3.

The Kansas City Royals are having an alright season in terms of results so far, they are currently sitting on a 30-32 season record. They are the middle team of their Central Division in the American League, with the White Sox leading the way in the division with 39 wins.

The Royals have only won four games out of their last ten, which includes a series tie with the Twins (2-2) as well as a series loss to the Angels (3-0). The Royals are in the middle of the league when it comes to average runs scored per game, at 4.3.

The Oakland Athletics are having exactly the type of season they would have hoped for, they are currently sitting on a 38-27 season record. They are currently the first team in the West Division in the American League, with the Astros their closest rivals.

The Athletics have won seven games out of their last ten, and this includes a series win against the Mariners (2-1), the Rockies (2-1) and the Diamondbacks (2-0). When it comes to average runs scored per game, they are in the middle of the league, with an average of 4.3.

The Athletics were able to strike back and level the series in a game that went to the wire on Friday evening. The Royals were good enough to draw first blood, but many believed they wouldn’t be good enough to go two wins up in the series against a team like the Athletics, and that’s exactly what happened. The Athletics are loving playing at home this season, so back them for another win on Saturday.

Los Angeles Angels @ Arizona Diamondbacks – 4.10PM ET

This Saturday afternoon clash between the Los Angeles Angels and the Arizona Diamondbacks will be the second game of a three game mini series. The first game was played on Friday, where the Angels managed to get the win away from home, winning 5-4.

The Los Angeles Angels are having an alright season in terms of results so far, they are currently sitting on a 31-32 season record. They are the middle team of their West Division in the American League, with the Athletics and Astros the two teams ahead of them.

The Angels have only won seven games out of their last ten, which includes a series tie with the Giants (1-1) and the Mariners (2-2), as well as a series win against the Royals (3-0). When it comes to average runs scored per game, they are in the top third of the league, with an average of 4.7.

The Arizona Diamondbacks are not having a season they would have hoped for, they are currently sitting on a 20-44 season record. They are currently the team in the West Division in the National League, with the Giants leading the way with 39 wins so far.

The Diamondbacks have only won one game out of their last ten, and this includes a series loss to the Mets (2-1), the Brewers (4-0) and the Athletics (2-0), they are currently on an eight game losing streak. When it comes to average runs scored per game, they are in the bottom half of the league, with an average of 4.17.

The Diamondback are experiencing a massive run of losses at the moment, and they need to do something to turn this around. The game on Friday between the two teams was actually pretty close, but the Angels still came out on top. The Angels are 6-1 in their previous seven games overall. Back the Angels for another win here on Saturday.

Seattle Mariners @ Cleveland Indians – 4.10PM ET

This Saturday afternoon clash between the Seattle Mariners and the Cleveland Indians will be the second game of a three game mini series. The first game was played on Friday, where the Indians managed to get the win at home, scoring all the runs, winning 7-0.

The Seattle Mariners are having an alright season in terms of results so far, they are currently sitting on a 31-34 season record. They are the second last team of their West Division in the American League, with the Athletics, Astros and Angels the teams ahead of them.

The Mariners have only won three games out of their last ten, which includes a series tie with the Angels (2-2) and a series loss to the Tigers (2-1). When it comes to average runs scored per game, they are in the bottom third of the league, with an average of 3.9.

The Cleveland Indians are having a season they have been working for, they are currently sitting on a 33-27 season record. They are currently the second team in the Central Division in the American League, with the White Sox leading the way with 38 wins so far.

The Indians have won six games out of their last ten, and this includes a series win against the White Sox (2-1) and a series loss to the Orioles (2-1). When it comes to average runs scored per game, they are also in the bottom third of the league, with an average of 4.12.

Seattle is not a team that likes playing on the road, they are 5-17 in their previous 17 games away from home. Also when they come across a team with a winning record, their own record is 43-90 in their previous 133 games. On the other hand, Cleveland are actually 8-3 in their previous 11 in the second game of a series. They are a bit shaky when it comes to playing games with a starting pitcher who is left handed, but they will have the momentum in this game to carry them through.

Houston Astros @ Minnesota Twins – 7.15PM ET

This Saturday afternoon clash between the Houston Astros and the Minnesota Twins will be the second game of a three game mini series. The first game was played on Friday, where the Astros managed to get the win away from home, 6-4.

The Houston Astros are having a great season in terms of results so far, they are currently sitting on a 36-27 season record. They are the second team of their West Division in the American League, with the Athletics the only team ahead of them, with 37 wins.

The Astros have won seven games out of their last ten, which includes a series win against the Blue Jays (2-1) and another series win against the Red Sox (2-0). When it comes to average runs scored per game, they are the number one team in the league, with an average of 5.4.

The Minnesota Twins are not having a great season so far, they are currently sitting on a 25-38 season record. They are currently the last team in the Central Division in the American League, with the White Sox leading the way with 38 wins so far.

The Twins have only won three games out of their last ten, and this includes a series tie with the Royals (2-2) and a series loss to the Yankees (2-1). When it comes to average runs scored per game, they are in the top half of the league, with an average of 4.63.

This is going to be a very interesting match to watch, especially considering the starters for both teams, Berrios and Garcia, who both have great records in their past couple of games. The Twins have a terrible record when playing a team that has a winning record, they are 9-20 in their previous 29 games. It looks like the Astros don’t mind playing on Saturday away from home, they are 11-4-1 in their previous 16 games. Back the Astros.

If it's sport, Katherine has got you covered. She doesn't discriminate, and loves all sport equally, from baseball to darts, if there's a competition going on, she is all over it. Her days are filled with watching as much sport, and reading as much as she can.The biggest problem Katherine faces is that she doesn't have enough screens for all the different games she wants to watch (oh and also the lack of sleep...but that doesn't count!). She loves sport so much, she made it her career and now she can do the things she loves day in and day out.
