The Miami Marlins are coming into this game looking to complete the four game sweep on Monday afternoon. They have already clinched the season series against them as they will have six games left to play after Monday’s series finale. The Washington Nationals will be happy to get away from the Miami Marlins regardless of the result of this game. The Nationals suffered yet another loss and now they will be looking to avoid being swept by Miami for the third time this season. They are currently on a one game winning streak and have won five out of their last ten games on the year. I have them picking up the victory here in game one of their series.

They have hit a bit of a slump as of late, despite them winning their last game they have lost seven out of their last ten on the year and have fallen to three and a half games behind the Los Angeles Dodgers for first place. I have them breaking out of their slump and taking the win here in game number one.

I look for them to take game one of this series as well.

It’ll be Julio Urias taking the mound in this one who is 6-6 and has made two starts against Colorado this year and he is 1-1. I look for the Dodgers to grab the win in this one.
