Merrill Kelly will be on the mound for the Arizona Diamondbacks in this one in this game should provide us with a pretty solid pitching matchup as two of the best starting pitchers and all of baseball will be going head to head here in game number two of the National League Championship Series. The Arizona Diamondbacks have shocked two division champions to get to this point, including sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers in the previous round and now they have a chance to advance to their first World Series since 2001, where they defeated the New York Yankees in seven games.
It has been a solid start to the postseason for the Philadelphia Phillies and Aaron Nola will be looking to help them get one step closer to defending their National League pennant with a victory in this game on Tuesday night at home. Philadelphia had a slow start to the season but they picked it up throughout the year and they come into this game fresh off of knocking out the best team in baseball for the second consecutive season which gives them plenty of momentum heading into this series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. I expect them to take control of that momentum and pick up a victory here at home on Tuesday night, before heading to Arizona for the next two games of this series.
