The Miami Marlins (24-23) take their weakest offense in the league on the road to face the Colorado Rockies (19-28) at Coors Field on Monday for the first of a four-game series.
The Marlins are in the midst of a 10-game road trip. They won only one out of three in their last series against the Giants, dropping the finale 7-5 on Sunday at Oracle Park. Jorge Soler was 4 for 5 with a home run and three RBIs.
The Rockies are playing the first of seven games at home. They were just swept in three games against the Rangers, dropping the finale 13-3 on Sunday at Globe Life Field. Randal Grichuk went 2 for 3 with one run.
The teams are meeting for the first time this season. Last season, the Marlins won four of the six games between the teams, including a sweep in their most recent meeting, a three-game set at loanDepot park in June.
ON THE MOUND
Edward Cabrera (3-3, 5.13 ERA) is set to get the start for Miami. The RHP allowed two runs over five innings in his last start, a 4-3 home win over the Nationals on Wednesday. He got the win, giving up five hits while striking out six.
Cabrera made one start against the Rockies in 2022, a 14-1 road victory on June 1. He allowed one hit over six scoreless innings, striking out nine and walking four. RHP Chase Anderson (0-0, 0.00 ERA) will toe the rubber for Colorado.
In his last start on Tuesday, Anderson took a no-decision at home against the Reds. He threw five scoreless innings and gave up one hit, striking out three and walking one in the 3-1 defeat.

The Miami offense is averaging 3.5 runs per game for the season, lowest in MLB, with a slash line of .247/.303/.382. Luis Arraez leads the team in OPS at .926. The second baseman is slashing .387/.442/.484 with one home run, 15 RBIs, and 16 runs over 43 games.
