College Football Betting Lines For Games In Week 14

College Football Betting Lines For Games In Week 14
Wed 2nd December 2020

Many college football teams have one or two games left in their regular seasons. Some teams are hoping to get in their conference championship games, while others are hoping to be bowl-eligible. Here’s a look at some of the most appealing college football betting lines for Week 14 of the 2020 season.

Notre Dame (-33.5) vs Syracuse

This matchup has one of the most lopsided college football betting lines of the week. The 9-0 Irish are hoping to clinch a spot in the ACC title game, while the 1-9 Orange have been slipping behind throughout the season.

LSU (+28.5) vs Alabama

The LSU Tigers are 3-4, showing that the team lost much of its competitive spirit following the departures of Joe Burrow and Clyde Edwards-Helaire. The Alabama Crimson Tide are the top-ranked team in the country and have been dominant even when coach Nick Saban is unable to be there.

Virginia Tech (+21.5) vs Clemson

The Clemson Tigers are trying to secure a spot in the ACC championship game, plus Trevor Lawrence is trying to bolster his argument for the Heisman Trophy. The Hokies have lost three straight games, including a loss to Pittsburgh by more than thirty points.

Michigan State (+23.5) vs Ohio State

Ohio State is hoping that this game will occur, as the Buckeyes are at risk of being ineligible for the Big Ten title if they cancel another game. Whether coach Ryan Day or any of the others who had positive tests as of late will appear remains uncertain, but the Buckeyes would be easy favorites over the Spartans.

Auburn (+6.5) vs Texas A&M

Auburn had its three-game winning streak snapped by Alabama, but the Tigers are hoping to come back with an upset over the Aggies. But Tigers quarterback Bo Nix has been slumping throughout the year. He has seven interceptions versus ten touchdowns.

Georgia (-33.5) vs Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt made history last week when Sarah Fuller became the first woman to compete in a Power Five football game. But she never got a chance to kick an extra point or field goal, as the Commodores were shut out by Missouri. Derek Mason was fired as the team’s coach after the game. The Bulldogs’ powerful defense might make it tough for Fuller to get another shot at scoring a point.

North Carolina (-49.5) vs Western Carolina

The heaviest favorite for the week is North Carolina. The 6-3 Tar Heels are taking on a Western Carolina team that has played two games this season. The Catamounts are hoping to play a regular Southern Conference season in the spring.

Tulane (-1.5) vs Memphis

The closest of the college football betting lines for the week is for Tulane to beat Memphis. The 5-5 Green Wave are trying to become bowl eligible. Quarterback Michael Pratt has led the Wave to thirty points or more in the team’s last five games. But Memphis quarterback Brady White is leading the Tigers with about 325 passing yards per game.

*College football betting lines are accurate at time of writing. Some games may be postponed or cancelled due to positive COVID-19 tests.
