The No. 3 seed Gonzaga Bulldogs (29-5, 16-2 WCC) face off against the No. 6 seed TCU Horned Frogs (22-12, 10-10 Big 12) Sunday at Ball Arena in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
TCU narrowly defeated the Arizona State Sun Devils 72-70 at Ball Arena on Friday in the First Round. Mike Miles Jr. led the way with 26 points. Gonzaga won their 10th in a row in the First Round on Friday at Ball Arena, beating the Grand Canyon Antelopes 82-70. Julian Strawther had 28 points and 10 rebounds, leading the team.
The Horned Frogs have been led this season by Miles Jr., who is averaging 13.5 points per game. Meanwhile, Emanuel Miller is grabbing 6.0 rebounds per game, and Damion Baugh is dishing 4.9 assists. Drew Timme (20.9 ppg) has supplied much of the Bulldogs’ offense.
Timme has also put up 7.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. The Bulldogs are averaging 87.4 points per game, ranking as the highest-scoring offense in the NCAA.
