The No. 11 Kansas State Wildcats (22-7, 10-6 Big 12) will be looking to build on their winning run when they are on the road to face the West Virginia Mountaineers (17-13, 6-11 Big 12) on Saturday.

The Mountaineers are eighth in the Big 12 Conference. This is the final meeting of the season between the teams. Kansas State will be aiming for a season sweep against West Virginia after winning the only previous meeting 82-76 in overtime at Fred Bramlage Coliseum in December 2022.

Nowell led the Wildcats with 23 points, 10 assists, and seven steals. Tre Mitchell had 16 points in the losing effort. Keyontae Johnson and Nowell, averaging 17.6 and 17.0 points per game, respectively, have led the Wildcats in scoring this season.

Johnson also has grabbed 7.1 rebounds per game, while Nowell has dished 7.6 assists per game, third-most in the NCAA. Stevenson has been the primary provider of the Mountaineers’ offense, averaging 15.2 points per game. Jimmy Bell Jr. is pulling down 5.4 rebounds per game, and Kedrian Johnson is doling out 3.1 assists.

The Wildcats have struggled in recent trips to WVU Coliseum, losing eight of the last 10.Kansas State is 5-5 in the last 10 games with an average margin of +1.5 (70.3-68.8). For the season, the Wildcats are averaging 75.3 points per game, compared to 68.0 for opponents.
