The No. 7 Texas Longhorns (9-1) and their suffocating defense host the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns (10-1) and their powerful offense on Wednesday. Louisiana topped the McNeese State Cowboys 78-70 at The Legacy Center on Thursday, their fifth straight win.

Texas won their third in a row on Sunday at American Airlines Center, beating the Stanford Cardinal 72-62. Marcus Carr tallied 17 points to lead the team in scoring. With 15 points and five assists, Timmy Allen also had an impressive game.
The Ragin’ Cajuns have been led this season by Brown, who is averaging 19.6 points per game. Meanwhile, Terence Lewis II is grabbing 9.2 rebounds per game, and Themus Fulks is dishing 5.9 assists.
Carr has supplied much of the Longhorns’ offense, averaging 15.6 points per game. Carr also has recorded 4.1 assists per game. Allen has pulled down 6.0 rebounds per game.The Ragin’ Cajuns rank as the country’s fifth-best team in offensive efficiency, while the Longhorns are seventh in defensive efficiency.
