The Stanford Cardinal (10-14, 4-9 Pac-12) will try to slow down one of the nation’s top scoring teams when they host the No. 4 Arizona Wildcats (22-3, 11-3 Pac-12) on Saturday.

Arizona blew out the California Golden Bears 85-62 at Haas Pavilion on Thursday, their seventh straight win. With 23 points and 14 rebounds, Azuolas Tubelis was a top performer. The Wildcats are second in the Pac-12 Conference.

Stanford came up short on Thursday at Maples Pavilion, falling to the Arizona State Sun Devils 69-65. Spencer Jones tallied 17 points to lead the team in scoring in the loss.

With 13 points, seven rebounds, and five assists, Brandon Angel also produced a strong performance. The Cardinal remain 10th in the Pac-12 Conference.

The teams are meeting for the only time this season. They last met in the Pac-12 Conference Tournament quarterfinals when the Wildcats knocked out the Cardinal with an 84-80 victory at T-Mobile Arena in March 2022, their third straight head-to-head win.

Tubelis also has grabbed 9.7 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Kerr Kriisa is dishing 5.8 assists. Jones’ 12.9 points per game have powered the Cardinal on offense. Maxime Raynaud is collecting 6.0 rebounds per game, and Harrison Ingram is distributing 3.4 assists.

With 83.4 points per game, the Wildcats are one of the highest-scoring offenses in the country (9th). In the last 10 games, Arizona is 8-2 with an average margin of +9.9 (77.2-67.3).
