The Texas Tech Red Raiders (4-1), one of the NCAA’s top scoring defenses, are on the road to face the Ohio State Buckeyes (4-1) on Wednesday. Texas Tech dominated the Louisville Cardinals 70-38 at Lahaina Civic Center yesterday. Kevin Obanor was the top scorer with 15 points.
Daniel Batcho added 9 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocks. Ohio State won in dominating fashion yesterday at Lahaina Civic Center, beating the Cincinnati Bearcats 81-53. Zed Key had 19 points and eight rebounds, carrying the team.
Obanor and Batcho, averaging 12.4 and 10.8 points per game, respectively, have led the Red Raiders in scoring so far this season. Batcho also has grabbed 7.6 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, De’Vion Harmon is dishing 3.4 assists per game. Brice Sensabaugh (17.0 ppg) has supplied much of the Buckeyes’ offense.
Key is averaging 9.6 rebounds per game, and Isaac Likekele is tallying 3.6 assists.Holding opponents to 54.4 points per game, the Red Raiders are one of the best scoring defenses in the NCAA (14th).
