The No. 17 TCU Horned Frogs (17-6, 6-4 Big 12) travel to face the No. 12 Kansas State Wildcats (18-5, 6-4 Big 12) Tuesday at Fred Bramlage Coliseum.
TCU was beaten by the Oklahoma State Cowboys 79-73 at Gallagher-Iba Arena on Saturday. With 17 points, Emanuel Miller was the scoring leader in the losing effort. JaKobe Coles chipped in with 15 points.
The Horned Frogs are fourth in the Big 12 Conference.Kansas State dropped a close one on Saturday at Fred Bramlage Coliseum, falling to the Texas Longhorns 69-66. Keyontae Johnson had 16 points in the losing effort, carrying the team. The Wildcats remain third in the Big 12 Conference.
This marks the final meeting of the season between the teams. TCU will be pursuing a season sweep against Kansas State after triumphing in the only prior matchup 82-68 at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena on January 14. Miller led the Horned Frogs with 23 points and eight rebounds. Johnson had 18 points and nine rebounds in the losing effort.
Mike Miles Jr. is averaging 14.1 points per game to lead the Horned Frogs in scoring this season. Meanwhile, Miller is grabbing 5.6 rebounds per game, and Damion Baugh is dishing 3.9 assists.
