#3 UCLA @ #7 Arizona – 8pm ET

This game is going to be the best one of the Thursday slate by far. As the third ranked UCLA Bruins head on the road to play the 7th ranked Arizona Wildcats. Both teams will be looking for a massive victory in this one.

Marko Nadin

In the most interesting match of the night, the two leading teams of the PAC 12 will go against each other. The Bruins defeated Arizona 75-59 a week ago. The Bruins are on top of the conference with a 16-2 record including 5-0 on the road. They have won the last six games and held Stanford to only 43 points in the last game. The Bruins are ranked 41st in the country with 78 points per game while they allow 14 less per game. Johnny Juzang who is averaging 18.1 points per game and Jaime Jaquez Jr. who is at 12.3 will miss the game against Arizona.

The Arizona Wildcats are second in the PAC 12 with a 17-2 record. They are perfect at home with 11-0. After losing to UCLA in their previous game, the Wildcats bounced back with a 67-56 win over Arizona State. The Wildcats are third in the nation with 86 points per game and 28th with 48% shooting from the field. Defensively, Arizona is second in the nation allowing only 38% from the field.

Marko’s College Basketball Pick: Arizona (-295)

Tony Battalio

The UCLA Bruins come into this game ranked third in the nation. Their overall record is sitting at 16-2 on the season. This game against the Arizona Wildcats is the biggest game of the Pac-12 schedule to date arguably for both teams. UCLA comes into this game on a six game winning streak and on top of the Pac-12 Conference with a record of 8-1. They are also the highest ranked Pac-12 team out of the three ranked teams in the conference. They will be looking for a huge resume building win in this one.

The Arizona Wildcats come into this game with a record of 17-2 and a record of 7-1 inside of conference play as they find themselves in second place a half of a game behind their opponents in this one. Arizona is undefeated at home this season which makes picking up a win in this one so much harder for the Bruins, the Wildcats are also on a one game winning streak at the moment. The Wildcats will be looking for sole possession of first with a victory. As for the result of this game I have the Arizona Wildcats picking up the victory over the UCLA Bruins.

Tony’s College Basketball Pick: Arizona (-295)

Noah Dunlap

This is the best game of the night, and the second time these two teams have met in the past week or so. The first matchup saw UCLA get the easy win, as they simply dominated in terms of physicality. The Bruins have won six straight, which has pushed their record to 16-2, and they now sit on top of the Pac-12 by themselves. One useful thing to keep in mind with this game is that Johnny Juzang and Jaime Jaquez Jr will both miss this onr, which could be troublesome, as they’re UCLA’s two best players.

Arizona comes into this one at 17-2, and second in the Pac-12, due to them dropping the first contest between these two. Despite the loss, they’re one of the best teams in the country in both offensive and defensive categories, which is why I think they’re one of the favorites to win a title come late March. One thing they’re going to have to do is play more physical, as that proved to be the biggest difference maker in the first game between these two. With the Bruins being without Juzang and Jaquez Jr, I’m taking the Wildcats to even up the season series between these two heavyweights.

Noah’s College Basketball Pick: Arizona (-295)

Iowa @ #16 Ohio State – 8pm ET

*This game has been postponed, new start time yet to be determined.*

The Iowa Hawkeyes are heading to Columbus to play Ohio State in this one. As the nationally ranked and 13-5 Buckeyes welcome the 14-7 Hawkeyes in this huge Big Ten conference clash. Ohio State is looking to bounce back from their loss to Purdue in this one.

Marko Nadin

The Ohio State Buckeyes are fifth in the Big Ten with a 13-5 record but are perfect 9-0 at home. AFter winning three games in a row, they lost 81-78 to the Purdue Boilermakers. Malaki Branham had a good game scoring 20 points which is double of his season average. The Buckeyes are scoring 75.3 points per game, eight more than what they allow. With 48% shooting from the field, Ohio State is 29th in the nation. The Buckeyes are 4-0 over in the last four games against a team with a higher than .600 winning percentage.

The Iowa Hawkeyes are ninth in the Big Ten with a 14-7 record. They have lost three of the last four games, most recently 90-86 in double overtime to Penn State. Iowa is sixth in the nation with 82.8 points per game while shooting 45.4% from the field. Seven of the last eight Iowa’s games against a team with over .600 percent have gone over the point margin. Iowa is only 205 on the road this season.

Marko’s College Basketball Pick: Ohio State (-205)

Tony Battalio

The Iowa Hawkeyes will have their hands full in this one as they take on the nationally ranked Ohio State Buckeyes. The Hawkeyes come into this game with a record of 14-7 on the season. They are currently on a two game losing streak and have lost three of their last four as well to Penn State, Purdue, and Rutgers. Iowa will be looking to get back on track with a huge top 25 upset win in this one on the road in Columbus, Ohio. The Hawkeyes currently sit in the bottom half of the Big Ten with a 4-6 conference record.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are coming into this game with a record of 13-5 on the season. In their last game they had their three game winning streak broken in a tight loss to the Purdue Boilermakers. The Buckeyes are currently ranked inside of the top 25 in the nation at 16th in the country. Ohio State sits in fifth place of the Big Ten conference with a record of 6-3. They will be looking to climb up the standings with a win in this one. As for the result of this game that is exactly what I expect as I have the Ohio State Buckeyes picking up the win at home over the Iowa Hawkeyes in this one.

Tony’s College Basketball Pick: Ohio State (-205)

Noah Dunlap

These two teams are trending in different directions, and I think that’s likely to continue in this one. Ohio State comes into this matchup with a 13-5 record, and have won three of their last four, including three straight before slipping up to a Purdue team that is one of the best teams in the country. On top of that, they’ve proven to be a team that can knock off ranked teams, as they have one of the best records in the country against teams in the top-25.

On the other side, Iowa comes in struggling as of late. Directly opposite the Buckeyes, they’ve lost three of their last four, including their last contest, a game they lost to a mediocre Penn State team. On top of that, they’re only 4-6 in the Big Ten so far this season, which shows that there’s some problems in terms of the Hawkeyes in conference. That’s why I’m taking Ohio State to take care of business at home against a struggling Iowa squad.

Noah’s College Basketball Pick: Ohio State (-205)

#2 Gonzaga @ San Diego – 9pm ET

The Gonzaga Bulldogs hit the road to sunny San Diego for this one. As the number two team in the nation looks to regain their spot at number one. While San Diego is looking for a huge top 25 upset win that gives them momentum to string more victories together.

Marko Nadin

The San Diego Toreros are third in the WCC with a 13-9 record. They are coming off back-to-back wins, most recently 69-65 against Loyola Marymount. San Diego is scoring only 68.1 points per game and allowing 63.9. They shoot 44% from the field and 34.8% from the three-point line. The last eight Toreros’ home games have finished under the point margin. They have covered the spread in each of their last six games.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are ranked second in the nation. They are on top of WCC with a 17-2 record. The last time the Zagz lost was on December 5th and have won the last 10 games since then. Gonzaga is the best team in the country with 90.8 points per game on 53.5% from the field. The Bulldogs are 22nd in the nation in three-point percentage at 37.8. Gonzaga has won the last ten games against San Diego and are 21-point favorites going into this one.

Marko’s College Basketball Pick: Gonzaga (-7000)

Tony Battalio

The Gonzaga Bulldogs shouldn’t have trouble in this one. They come into this game playing an unranked opponent while they are ranked second in the nation. The Gonzaga Bulldogs also have two of the best players in the nation in Drew Timme and Chet Holmgren, both of which are potential player of the year award winners. Gonzaga comes into this game with a record of 17-2 on the season. They are in first place in their conference with a record of 6-0. As they have won their last ten games in a row.

San Diego comes into this game with a record of 13-9 on the season. They are currently in third place of the West Coast Conference with a conference record of 6-3 on the season. They are 1.5 games behind their opponents in this one, the Gonzaga Bulldogs. They are currently on a two game winning streak. However, I don’t expect this game to be close at all, as I look for Gonzaga to cover the spread easily in a blowout win. San Diego is a decent team but they don’t have the same talent that the Bulldogs do, so they won’t be able to keep up.

Tony’s College Basketball Pick: Gonzaga (-7000)

Noah Dunlap

Much like most Gonzaga games in West Coast Conference play, this one won’t be close. The Bulldogs come into this one ranked second in the country, sitting at 17-2, and haven’t lost in nearly two months. That’s largely due to the fact that they have two sure fire first round picks on their roster, including the guy that may go number one overall in Chet Holmgren.

San Diego comes into this one having a bit of a rough season so far, as they sit at 13-9. They have won two straight, but both have comes against mediocre to bad competition, and they simply don’t have the talent or size to handle what Gonzaga is going to show them in this matchup. Give me the Bulldogs to travel down to Southern California and get a win with extreme ease here.

Noah’s College Basketball Pick: Gonzaga (-7000)

#19 USC @ Arizona State – 11pm ET

The 19th ranked USC Trojans come into this game at 18-3 on the season. They will travel to Arizona State for this one. The Arizona State Devils come into this game with a record of 6-12 on the season. Both teams will be looking for a big Pac-12 conference win.

Marko Nadin

The Arizona State Sun Devils are ninth in the PAC 12 with a 6-12 record. They have lost six of the last seven games. They are coming off a 67-56 loss to the Arizona Wildcats. The last time Arizona State won was on January 16th when they defeated the Utah Utes by 64-62. The Sun Devils are ranked under 300th in any offensive category and are scoring only 62.7 points per game. Marcus Bagley who is averaging 10 points per game will miss the game against USC.

The USC Trojans are third in the PAC 12 with an 18-3 record. After losing to Stanford, they bounced back in the last round with a 79-72 win over California. USC is scoring 74.5 points per game while allowing 63.5 which ranks them 44th in the country. The Trojans are among the top 10 in allowed field goal percentage with 37.7. USC has won the last four games against Arizona State and are 6-point favorites going into this game.

Marko’s College Basketball Pick: USC (-250)

Tony Battalio

The USC Trojans come into this game with a record of 18-3 on the season. They come into this game ranked 19th in the nation. They will be looking to pick up a fairly easy win in this one over the Arizona State Sun Devils. The Trojans put together a great non-conference schedule as they went 10-0, as all three of their losses have come inside of conference play so far this season. The Trojans bounced back from their second Stanford loss to beat the Cal Golden Bears at home by a score of 79-72, which was their fourth win in their last five games.

fanduel sign up bonus

The Arizona State Sun Devils are having a very round year as they come into this one with double the amount of losses as they do wins. They come into this game with a record of 6-12 on the year. They are 2-6 in the Pac-12 conference and it doesn’t look like it’s getting any better for Arizona State anytime soon. As I don’t expect this game to be close at all. As for the result of this game I have the USC Trojans picking up the win on the road and covering the spread in the process over the Sun Devils.

Tony’s College Basketball Pick: USC (-250)

Noah Dunlap

This is another matchup that is probably going to get ugly in a hurry, as the USC Trojans travel out to to Tempe to take on Arizona State. The Sun Devils from Arizona State have had an atrocious year to this point, as they sit at 6-12, including 2-6 in Pac-12 play. Making matters worse, they’ve lost six of their last seven, and now they take on one of the best teams in the conference.

USC has surprised quite a few people so far this season, as they come into this matchup at 18-3 on the year. Despite the really good record, they only sit at 19th in the latest polls, and I think that’s largely due to the fact that they don’t have any real quality wins. While they’re one of the best teams in their conference, I think the relative weakness of their schedule puts me on edge a bit in terms of postseason play, but as for this contest, I think they take care of business on the road against a bad ASU squad.

Noah’s College Basketball Pick: USC (-250)
