The Creighton Bluejays (5-0), one of the nation’s top shooting teams, are on the road to face the Arkansas Razorbacks (4-0) on Tuesday. Trey Alexander added 17 points. Arkansas won their fourth in a row in impressive fashion yesterday at Lahaina Civic Center, beating the Louisville Cardinals 80-54. Anthony Black had 26 points and six assists to lead the team.
Ryan Kalkbrenner and Kaluma, averaging 15.2 and 14.4 points per game, respectively, have led the Bluejays in scoring early this season. Meanwhile, Baylor Scheierman is grabbing 9.4 rebounds per game, and Ryan Nembhard is dishing 5.8 assists.
Ricky Council IV has powered the Razorbacks on offense, averaging 17.8 points per game. Trevon Brazile is pulling down 8.0 rebounds per game, and Black is tallying 3.5 assists. The Bluejays are shooting 51.0% from the field, ranking as one of the country’s most accurate field goal shooting teams (23rd).
