The Morgan State Bears (4-7) head to face the No. 5 Arizona Wildcats (10-1, 1-1 Pac-12) Thursday in what figures to be an up-tempo game.Morgan State lost to the UMBC Retrievers 75-63 at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena on December 10, their sixth loss in a row away from home.
With 22 points and seven rebounds, Will Thomas was a top performer in the losing effort. Arizona won their fourth in a row on Saturday at McKale Memorial Center, beating the Tennessee Volunteers 75-70. Azuolas Tubelis had 19 points and nine rebounds, carrying the team.
The Bears have been led this season by Isaiah Burke and Malik Miller, who are averaging 17.4 and 16.4 points per game, respectively. Miller also is contributing 9.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.
